>Just found out that my cousin and his girlfriend/baby mama died from an apparent drug overdose
>He had a child and my uncle/aunt are incapable of taking care of him because my uncle has dementia and my aunt doesn't earn jack shit because she's a cleaning lady
>Have to go with my parents tomorrow to tell my grandparents and my granddad has dementia as well so we'll have to explain it 4-5 times
Is it normal that I'm more pissed off than sad? I feel sad for the rest of my family but, as far as my cousin is concerned, I feel an underlying fucking rage at what's he done to his child and my family.
>>
You mean you're mad because it potentially means you have to step up in terms of responsibility

Did you even read? It's his cousins baby. Why would that be his responsibility?
>>
yeah that's normal, its the same with suicides too
>>

No. I can't do anything for the kid. Her parents will most likely take him. I'm pissed because of the pain he's caused my family and for the fact that his kid is going to grow up without a mother/father because he wanted to get high.

Because
>his aunt and uncle can't look after the kid
>his grandparents probably can't look after the kid
>his parents will probably have to take the kid in
>if you've ever had a younger sibling, you know that you have to look after them and you're often held responsible for them

That's why.

to be frank if he was the type to use hard drugs the kid's better off without him
