Heya /adv/ legal question

So, my dad was having an operation on my 21st birthday, he died.

I'm not sure of all the details, but his stomach filled with blood and he died while op was on. They're holding the body for a few months to look at it.

Is that normal? Did they mess up?


Somebody told my mum to get a lawyer, I can't afford to care for her.

I'm sorry for your loss. What surgery was he having?

Holding onto the body for examination would be normal, but that only takes days, not months. Something smells wrong. Find a lawyer.
