I was raised a Christian. Around middle school, I doubted God. I went on this crazy anti-God spree. Then I started looking for the truth, only to find out there wasn't. Things only went downhill from there. My life got worse and worse, until finally I was about to kill myself. I was going to drive my car off a mountain that Friday. The day of, I entered the church and screamed and flailed, since I was going to die. In the midst, I heard a voice, "Be still and know that I am God." I was immediately filled with a sense of peace and purpose ever since.

But I shall say exposition because I want to.
I was raised essentially atheist. My parents were/are Christian but they didn't have strong beliefs. They told me as a boy, if I wanted to be Christian, I could read the Bible and choose. I didn't and I didn't.

Now as an adult I did read the Bible and I learned Christian history.
It's appealing but there are so many contradictory things. Things like the Council of Nicea or why the Arian Heresy even exists.

I don't believe anyone who says they hear the voice of God.

Its not porn that's dragging you down its your lack of self confidence. Stopping your porn habit will only move those feeling on to something else.
