When someone tells you that you're not capable of doing something, do you prove them right or wrong?

Depends on if I'm actually capable of the thing.
>>17380735
My stubbornness says prove them right, my logic says otherwise...
>>17380735
Just skip the mind games and do it if you want to. Chances are no matter what you do they will claim they made you do it.

You shouldn't let their comment change whether or not you were going to try to do said thing. If you were going to do it anyway, then do it, otherwise ignore them.

would you have the time to prove everyone wrong?
everyone has their own specialty.

For me it depends on the person. If they're a stranger who knows nothing about me and can only assume things, I wouldn't go out of my way to prove them wrong. If it's a person that I look up to, admire, or otherwise care about greatly then I'd most likely prove them wrong. Not for the principal, but I'd prove them wrong so they can see that I am capable, that they can trust me, that they can depend on me, and most importantly to show that when I set my mind to something I will accomplish it.

Ignore everyone, and continue doing what I'm doing within my limits.
I do what I want. I don't do things for other people which includes proving them right or wrong.
