So a few weeks ago I got completely black out drunk at a party, and some assholes poured washing up liquid all over me.
I slept with a bunch of the stuff in my eyes, and when I woke up the whites of my eyes were pink. I've never had perfect eyesight, so I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid, but I feel like my eyesight has been getting worse. Obviously, I rinsed my eyes a shit ton on the following couple of days, but I swear my sight has been less than 5 metres for reading license plates tonight in evening lighting.
Should I go to a doctor to have them check for remaining chemicals in my eyes, or should I just go to the optician?

Did you flush your eyes with a saline solution? Tap water has the potential of damaging your eyes even further and react with the chemical already in your eye.
If you are concerned then yes it is a good idea to see a doctor about it. He might prescribe you some saline solution to flush your eyes out. Or you can just go buy some yourself at any drug store.

I'm pissed at the people who did it but we're all pretty young, and I bear blame for getting myself into a vulnerable state around people I didn't know.
Otherwise thanks for the advice guys. I'll book an appointment at the general's tomorrow if I can't find a local specialist.
