Not OP, but I've thought about therapy or speaking to a doctor but I don't understand how that can fix me. I don't want to take drugs to "solve" the problem, it's just covering up all the real problems.

My thoughts are though is that I spend all day thinking about things in my head, and I'm a rational person. When I rationalize something that makes me depressed I eventually come to the conclusion that I just have to accept it, but I can't accept it. In my head I know that I might have no power to change it, but accepting whatever it is that depresses me doesn't make it go away.

If I can't rationalize myself to accept things then how can someone else who isn't in my head and isn't thinking what I'm thinking? I've already gone through every possible situation and I'm not going to accept it, and I know that talking to someone won't make me accept something, so what magic trick do they have that treats you? Why can't I do that magic trick to myself? Is it really just "lol drugs" to cover it up?
