what are some jobs that don't deal with the general public?
No phone calls, no cash registers, no floating.
I don't mind dealing with asshole co-workers or bosses that don't care about your feewings, but I have worked retail too long to put up with any more problem customers or clumsy clients or flaky buyers.
My only skillset is retail and a fine/graphic arts "degree" so preferably I'd like to find something entry level.
Is there a site like Monster or Indeed that has a "public interaction" tag? Maybe a site that filters jobs for introverts or similar?

Just search "night" in whatever job site you use.

So simple, yet effective. Thank you.

Security work, warehouse work? Friend of mine was a salesperson for a long time and was delighted to get transferred to the warehouse (where he eventually became supervisor), so he could stop dealing with the public.

That is an encouraging story. Thank you for sharing.
