11 uIU/ml TSH and fT4 0.96 ng/d
what do these result mean? hyper or hypo.
thanks
It means you have subclinical hypothyroidism. Doesn't particularly need to be treated, but monitored again in a few months time.

>11 uIU/ml TSH
Is it ulU/ml or mlU/ml? There's a big difference between milliliters and microliters.

uIU/ml is what it says.

In a few months time? Not to be treated? So you just have to wait for the time that it needs to be treated?

Then it's hyper.
Ask a professional to properly interpret the reading.
The "professional" said they're totally normal, I say that's not the case.
Its kinda odd though, occuring hairloss is hypo and these results say hyper...

Get a second opinion. Doctors can be cunts sometimes because they have constant nagging from hypochondriacs.

top reply, thanks a lot
as for a dobule check it would be in a few weeks.. Until then, iodine rich foods i.e walnuts and using iodized salt with a selenium supp aand of course a vegan diet would do the trick..
-to anyone reading this thinking on how to fix it-
if it was dat eezy

Hypo. TSH above 5 is high for sure. Free T4 is right above the minimum 0.7 ng/d value and its maximum is 1.9 ng/d
Get your happy ass to a good endocrinologist. I bet you feel like shit.
So so sorry, probably did not click it strong enough the test is actually saying 2,11 not 11...
For one that is sure.. its the thyroid.. all symptoms on board..
Sorry again, if you could advise of the 2,11 levels woudl be appreciated.
Looks like avg..
