Should I pay for professional photos for tinder etc?
Or will this come off as try-hard? The camera in my mobile phone is kinda shit and I really wanna look at good as possible. I've lost a lot of weight
I don't think you should... Specially considering that tinder is actually shit. And it looks kinda weird to me. Don't you have any friends with ok cameras you could borrow?

I actually use a couple of apps, lovoo mostly. I dunno how popular that is in the US. I am in Germany
Well, i am from Brazil and i got to actually fuck only a couple of girls i met on tinder out of more than 100 matches. That's why i think it doesn't work so well ( here ). But hey, if you need good pictures for your social media, go ahead and hire someone!

i think that can be kind of cool. depends on the type of photos tho. you'd need to find a good photographer and ideally have an idea yourself what kind of photos you want so you don't end up with boring and stiff looking portraits
That's pretty tryhard and cringey. Don't do it. Make sure you do some activities with friends and have them take pics of you

Wait.. people do this? I thought those were just senior photos or that type of stuff.
Absolutely not looking back at those people that looks weird af
Yeah, that really sounds tryhard. I doubt many people do this
Post your tinder pics here, OP. Some anons will give some pointers
Good photos are crucial for any sort of online dating success. Of course, you shouldn't really have to pay for a professional photographer and you definitely don't want something staged. The issue isn't so much needing the best camera, etc - the issue is getting the right photo taken.
look up what makes for a good online dating photo and get a friend with a half-decent camera to take it, shit even phones take decent photos now
For tinder?? Hell no.
For Linkedin and maybe facebook, sure.
