How do you tell someone they're annoying if you have to work closely with them for the next 2 years?

Ehh a little bit of both. I could try being friends if they weren't so annoying, but everyone single person he works with (except for like 2 people) find him annoying but he just doesn't realize it.

No need to tell them they're annoying, just show them that they are. When they are annoying you, tell them to stop, and they will eventually figure out that they are annoying and stop on their own.
You do have to make sure you MAKE them shut up, though, or it doesn't work.
