Without giving away too many details, my family and I are in a stressful financial situation. We all pay group rent and we're barely treading water between each paycheck. The house in a near constant state of filthiness due to everyone at home being a combination of stressed/depressed/exhausted. I can't move out because I don't want to abandon them, and since we all get meager pay from wageslave jobs we can't really afford to move to a better place. This is the first time in my life that I've ever been so legitimately depressed.
Currently I
>am working a shitty wageslave job
>have no college or high school degree/GED equivelent
Ideally, I'd like to be able to pursue other career interests without having to worry about bills to pay or other people who are depending on me.
Feel free to share any of your financial problems in this thread as well.
Are you actively looking for a better paying job?

Yes, I've been refreshing Craigslist pages and looking around the area, but it's hard find anything more than just marginally better. Any time I find something even remotely promising, I end up not meeting the requirements in some form or another.
