So I have a problem with my hair, its just way too thick and greasy. I got a haircut 2 weeks ago so its decently short still but here is an example of my issue. I take a shower last night at 9pm, I wake up at 10am and my hair is greasy, has some dandruff, and if I run my hand in it some pieces of hair come out. Is it my shampoo that is the issue? I use Dove Mens shampoo and conditioner with caffeine, the bottle says its meant to fight greasy hair and but in less then 12 hours my hair is greasy again. What should I be doing about this? If you need more info to help me here just ask, but i think I got it all

If you're washing every day, you're actually telling your scalp to produce MORE oil to make up for it. Cut down on that shit, maybe get a dry shampoo to last you the day if you really hate it, but avoid showering/shampooing daily.

The other anons are right. You shouldn't wash your hair everyday unless you also use conditioner.
