My dad died when I was 15, two weeks before my 16th birthday
Am I broken? Am I ever going to be an emotionally stable man? Or are things like this forever?
I just turned 18
Who knows? You're still young. Literally anything can happen within the next 1, 5, 10 or even 20 years

Everyone is going to lose a parent at some point. Sad fact of life and sadder still in your case that it happened at such a young age. No point dwelling on the fact that it happened and how negatively it may have affected you. It has already happened and now you adjust your course moving forward.

I grew up with a shitty dad. I'm 23 and he and my mom split up when I was 17. I had issues for 3 or 4 years but I'm all good now.
It's normal to have issues for a little while.

It's okay to be sad sometimes. If you think about him a few times per day, see a therapist.
