At work today I was talking about the haircut I got this weekend and my boss told me I had a few grey hairs. I thought he was kidding, but when I got a chance to inspect myself in the mirror I found I had dozens and dozens of little silver lines all over my scalp. I'm only 25! How is this happening? Is this common!?
It seems to be localized to the top of my head, my beard is still obnoxiously orange, but what should I do in the future? Should I dye my hair to keep from looking 50 when I'm 30? Or should I just let it take its course?
My cousins are 23 and 29 and they have salt and pepper hair. It looks pretty cool, to be honest. I wouldn't recommend dying it, but then again, I'd be too lazy to keep touching it up

The same happened to me and my uncle as well. Idk if it's common but it happens. Hey at least you aren't balding in your 20s, that can happen too.
Your options are to dye your hair, cut it short, or just accept it.
I started getting gray hair in my beard at 23. I have a few in my scalp at 30 now. Get over it.
Happens 50% because of genetics 50% because of how your body handles stress.
Keep in mind that having grey hair at your age is every model's dream
Dont worry about it OP, I'm 22 and just noticed maybe 3-4 silver/grey hairs when I buzzed today. Seems cool to me.
I started getting grey hair at 17. Now I am 37 and have at least 50% grey. Genetics and trauma? It just is. I'm me and me is grey.
