All massage therapists, please read this.
I went to school for massage therapy but never got to finish. Because of that, I can't even take my mblex test nor will my college release my transcripts so I can finish with a different school.
So my question is, should I answer Craigslist ads for or massage therapist? I'm concerned about getting caught by the massage board. They will bar me from ever getting my license. The way around this is not taking payment but rather 'donations toward my education'.
I'm also concerned about people who are expecting a happy ending. Does this happen often on Craigslist?
Before anyone tries to school me, I know all my contraindications and can provide legit clinic paperwork. Just no licensing.
In short, what are the odds I'll get caught or get hurt answering calls on craiglist
I need to keep this from 404 so bump
Droping some pictures, please feel free to do the same.

I'm sure there's a fantastic pun in here somewhere, I'm just too tired to make it work right now.

Here let me help.
Did not have the money, had to finish early?
I don't know, I tried.
Really. I'm not trying to be a dick but I feel like I have a legitimate question and all I see is people worried because they are fat and alone or stupid and regretting things.
I get it, it's serious problems but it's the same posts day in and day out. Shit, if you have a question or need advice, I'll answer it in this thread and maybe someone I'll do the same for me.
Did you pay all the money you owe to the first school?
If you're in the US, any educational program that accepts any kind of federal funding or tax breaks has to follow FERPA. Even trade schools, iirc.
Under FERPA, you have a right to get at least unofficial transcripts if you have paid your tuition and finished exit counseling.
I'm not sure how they could hold your transcripts.
If your college won't release transcripts it is because you owe them money and not because you did not finish.
