So, not sure how much but it looks like my tiny pooch ate some risperidone. I called a doctor out to look at him and he gave him some peroxide to induce vomitting to no effect. This was some 6 hours ago.
The dog is now lying down wrapped up, hardly moving but breathing OK and just sleeping. He doesn't want to eat. He has drank some water from a syringe. Normally he is very energetic and constantly seeking attention.
Has anyone been in a situation like this before? I'm worried that if I sleep he will go into seizures or shock and die.
I am a special education teacher and have a student who takes a cocktail of medications, risperidone included. I could tell you a bunch of the observed effects, but instead I want to ask: why haven't taken your dog to see a veterinarian?
If puppy has not puked rush off to vet.
They can pump the pupps stomache.

The doctor that came out to see him said that he thinks he is OK and just needs to sleep it off and part of me thinks I should believe what he says because he knows what he's talking about but part of me is worried.

Will there be anyone who can do that 8/9pm? Do vets do emergency situations like that?
Ye Doc knows what hes doing. If he said that then just chill and watch over him.
I would not worry about getting the puppy pumped. If a doc came and said he will be fine than dont worry.
