How do you cope with the fact that a song does not go on forever? That a meal only lasts so long? That going swimming on a hot summers day stops being pleasant after the sun goes down?

Permanence robs life of it's interest and joy.

Because all things are and the very nature of the universe is momentariness and fluidity. You cope by moving with it, never digging your roots in and remaining flexible and adaptable.
