So I have dust(mite) allergy and it caused my skin on my face to break out with rashes. I finally realized that my apartment is way more dusty than others cause I wet cleaned my floors yesterday and today it's already dusty as shit again.
Now I live at a really busy street with cars and trams passing by: does that cause so much dust to settle in my room?
This shit is eating up my self-confidence: any help is appreciated

Buy an air purifier

so if I keep the windows closed it'll gradually reduce the amount of dust in my air?
Also what about nights when cars don't pass by so often?

>>17191981
Not worth it since I'm leaving soon

Windows closed will help, but it won't completely prevent it. Your home isn't airtight; dust is just part of the reality of where you live. Nighttime wouldn't make as big of a difference as you might think. Dust can hang in the air for a long time.

Just spend like $20 on one

well I don't want to completely prevent dust, but will normal levels be achievable if I just keep the door to the hallway open?

I don't know how your building's ventilation system is structured, so I can't answer that. Dust will get inside through any opening: window, door, vent, etc. You live in a dusty area. Getting a cheap little air filter like the other anon suggested is a good idea.
