Hey guys currently about to enter my freshmen year of college. Hoping to pursue in STEM major, and I'm in need for a laptop this summer for college. For STEM majors should I pick windows over mac? Or if I were to go with mac should I wait for the new releases this summer or just stick to a windows laptop? Any recommendations?
btw also heavily produce music on my computer so that is a factor i need to consider before purchasing
no one needs a mac
if you just need it for uni work and music stuff, just get like a 19inch with a good processor and 8gb of ram, that should cost you around $350
chromebook
You should get something that's compatible with whatever software the school computers use.

I'm a STEM major and this is what I have. Works fine
I'm probably going to get either a macbook or some sort of windows laptop capable for gaming/video-editing/photo-editing. My price range is around $1000-$2000+ so any recommendations?
