Is this Freshman schedule too much?

Yeah, that's what I did. Took Calculus, Chemistry, and a writing class.

Do both Biology and Chemistry have labs? If so, you should drop another course. Two labs is doable, but not when you have five classes.

In highschool i had 18 per year and in college i have 7 per semester which i can't even choose at all i just have to pass everything there is

This is actually identical to the schedule I took as a first semester Freshman. I did well in all my courses, but also spent most of my time studying. If you want to be active in other respects (a job, extracurriculars), I'd stick to four courses.

Every semester of college I took at least 17 hours (approx. 4-5 classes, sometimes 6 if I had a 1 hour class), with my max being 21 hours, and I did fine. Just take enough to graduate in 4 years and you'll be fine.

The fuck? Do you want to graduate late? Hi Op I just graduated biochemistry, you should be fine if you are a decent student. Just be careful later into your years 4 classes won't seem like a lot and then you'll end up wanting to kill yourself. Ask around how classes were and see what is time consuming.
