Go to traffic court on the date of the ticket and appeal. If you're a first time offender, they can reduce the fine.

iirc they have payment plans as well. If worst comes to worst, dump it on a credit card or get a payday loan. Please don't be unemployed..

I doubt I'll be back in the state before the 2 weeks are up. So let's say a warrant happens and I'm arrested next time I'm in the area. Is there some way to get the tickets dismissed at that point?

Sam thing happened to me about 3 yrs ago. At the time i was unemployed so i told the judge that and i worked community service hours. About 50 if i remember correctly. So try and explain that youre unemployed and hope for the best.

Also dont miss your court date. Most states issue a arrest warrant if you do.

Call the courthouse and explain that you are unemployed but had to leave the state for some temp work. They will probably reschedule you.
