Are there any real benefits to abstaining from watching porn?

You are statistically likely to reap benefits from freeing yourself of an addiction. It matters little if that addiction happens to be cocaine, chocolate or porn. If you are a casual user of a substance or if you rarely produce a behavior then abstaining from it will produce little consequences.

The only case where it generally known benefit is if your porn habits are fucking up your life -what's commonly known as a "pron addiction"- but that's basically a truism. It also doesn't apply to most people, or even most porn viewers.

If your porn viewing isn't fucking up your life, then there is no proven benefit in the general case. Some people do seem to draw benefit from it anyway, but you can't be sure if you'll be among them.
