Before you post a question, check here to see if it's already been answered
Keep your questions short and sweet for more answers.
And please no derailing arguments.

Avoid asking these common questions:
>Do girls/guys like <insert specific look>?
>Is my body part big/small enough?
>Am I short/tall enough?
>Would you date a virgin?
><Random insecurity>
Some do, some don't. Preferences differ, but complexes are always a turn-off.

>I'm shy and afraid of people/rejection. What do I do?
Think positive, and get over it by practicing and exposing yourself to it, little by little, step by step. There is no single magical moment that will instantly change you forever. It takes hard work, time, and effort.

>I like someone. What do I do?
Ask them out.

>How can I tell if someone likes me?
Ask them out. This is something we cannot explain to you. You either have learned to intuit this or you have not. If you have not, the only way to learn is experience--there are no shortcuts. So it comes back to: Just ask them out.

>Where do I meet girls/guys?
Anywhere outside. Or online.

>Someone did something insignificant. What does it mean?
Nothing significant. Stop overthinking it.
Alternative answer: we don't fucking know.

>XYZ happened. Did I fuck it up with this guy/girl?
Maybe, maybe not. We're not in their head, we don't know. No amount of your walls of text will fix that.

>This person did something that hurt my feelings. Why do guys/girls do this?
Because shit people are shit people. It's not a gendered thing

>Someone has made it abundantly clear they're no longer interested in me. Do I still have a chance?
No

>Where do I go on a first (or subsequent) date?
Pick one or more of the following: coffee, lunch, dinner, drinks, ice cream, movies, zoo, aquarium, museum, art gallery, <activity in your city>

>That one guy who keeps asking about cuddling in platonic friendships.
No one wants to cuddle you. Stop asking.

>Brandon
Fuck off

Ladies, is getting fucked in the butt really as offensive a suggestion as some people make it out to be?
>>
ladies,
How can i convince you that i'm not just interested in sex?
>>
>>17016365
Don't get impatient about sex.
Pay attention to the girl outside of sex.
Show her that you actually care about what she has to say and what's going on in her life.
Don't just call her late at night when you want sex.
Don't just hang out with her when it's convenient for you.
Don't be talking to a bunch of other girls at the same time.

Just obvious stuff
>>

Dating first gf ever for 3 weeks now
When and how is the best time to tell her I'm a virgin or should I not

No. I want to try anal myself, kinda squicky about him getting shitdick though
>>
>>17016332
How Do I get to have sex with girls?
>>
>>17016372
That was actually a stupid question for me to ask :/. I do all those things but because of people in the past, she's sort of convinced.
>>
>>17016389
Well then it's not on you, it's on her. You're going to have to decide if she's worth this effort if she's going to be this paranoid and can't put her past demons behind her
>>
Yesterday I was at the Hookah lounge with one of my friends. Across from us probably like 6-8 feet away from us was a group of people. Two guys and three girls. One of the girls was staring at me the whole time. I got this vibe from her that she was the fifth wheel and the other four were couples. My friend mentioned to me that she was staring at me. This girl was freaking gorgeous I mean 10/10 body and really pretty face. They ended up leaving and I didnt make a move. Would it have been rude for me to just walk up to her and ask her out? My friend was on my ass about not doing anything but I didnt want to risk one of the guys being her bf or just barging into a group of people and looking stupid. Did I make the right decision or did I pussy out?

What's a good date idea with a girl who's sickly, socially anxious and not getting out much? It rules out most of the OP list, which is why I'm asking.
We're close, but not close enough to visit her place. I have nothing to offer at mine either, hardly even a place to sit comfortably.

Took her to the movies once and she liked it, but the distance is hell and most movies out right now are crap
>>
>>17016373

I've heard you probably shouldn't until afterwards. Probably more true if you are 25
>>
>>17016640
Why would you want to date someone like that? How does the idea of sitting at home every time you hang out, and never going out, appeal to you?
>>
>>17016639
Idk, maybe something like "You stood out", "You were way too beautiful for me not to approach you". Things like that.
>>
>>17016639
"I liked your shoes." Point out something unique about her. Or just tell the truth. Unless the truth is her boobs.
>>
>>17016648
I like her as a person. She's cute, we think alike and we share the same interests. Problem is that those interests aren't really things you go out to do together. You don't go out on a date to read books, watch movies (every single time at least), or look at shit on the internet

I want to get to know her better in person, but I really don't know what to do to connect with her. I tried coffee, standard date crap. She hated the idea, but insisted that wasn't a rejection.
>>
>>17016675
And to add to this, the majority of our connecting right now is digitally. Her initiative. Not a good thing. I just want a reason to see her again in person, because this feels like an LDR even though we only live an hour-ish apart.
>>
>>17016673
>>17016652
Okay. Well i told her the truth. She looked fabulous in her dress, and I didn't think much of it until i heard her burp (stupid shit like that was unexpected and made me laugh, she's very goofy and I like that). And she gives off a vibe that made me want to know her.

>>17016675
I think you need to stop trying to make it the standard "hollywood movie" type of dates, and actually do something at home. Even if it's just hanging around and just talking, looking at stuff on your computer.
I could spend entire week ends inside with my last gf, and every date I have now, I secretly wish it could be at home watching something or just hanging and talking. Because the house is a much more private and comfortable place to be in; No one around to watch. You can be natural.

Just ask if she likes the idea, tell her you're trying to find things to do because you want to see her, and she could give you ideas too.
>>
>>17016691
>private
That's why I'm uncomfortable with hanging out at home at the moment. My place isn't ready for visitors at all. I have a tiny tv, a bookshelf with some books, a desk with a pc and one desk chair, a single-bed right behind it and 1 square metre of open space. Even the wallpapers are still from my childhood. Outside of that little area it's relatives all over the place and no room for a little quiet.

Her place may be different, but I don't think we're close enough yet for me to just invite myself over. I'd honestly rather just go out to do anything.
>>
Guys, how do you usually deal with rejections? How do you deal with coming out of a failed short-term relationship? I'm a kinda generally sad person, I started dating to get better but right now I'm feeling sad again if not worse.
>>
>>17016724
>how do you usually deal with rejections?
"OK." On the surface, it's just an invitation. It's her loss if she doesn't want to take the offer. Under deeper consideration it's also a good thing that I'm not going to be spending time with someone who doesn't even enjoy my company. That would just ruin whatever we're doing.

>How do you deal with coming out of a failed short-term relationship?
Get back to the stuff I enjoy doing. That's really what I'm all about. Dates/relationships are just seeing if anyone wants to tag along.
>>

>>

>>
>>17016789
Talk about fun stuff you plan on doing soon. If she reacts positively, invite her to join you. Don't make shit up or anything. Just share the things you enjoy.
>>
>>17016798
Holy shit how did i not think of that! Thank you.
>>
>>17016798

>>
>>17016798
>>17016810

>>
Girls, if sex is painful for her, should I ask her to look into kegel excersizes?
>>
>>17016810
>>17016814
Well that went out the window quickly....
What would you suggest then? The most difficult component is that most of the time she is hanging out with her (usually mutual) friends and asking her in private would be a much better option, no? And because of the fact that you can't be 10 minutes without running into a friend here it would be really difficult. Sorry if this is poorly worded or imporper english, tired as fuck atm.
>>

>>
>>17016852

But like how? How do I comfort someone of the opposite sex in a completely platonic fashion? Are hugs too much? Arm on shoulder sude squeeze? Back pats? Head rubs?
>>
>>17016852
Don't you have a boyfriend though?
>>
>>17016847
"hey, can I buy you lunch/dinner/coffee/a drink sometime?". Even better if you have a time or place to take her out in mind alread
>>
>>17016673
>Or just tell the truth. Unless the truth is her boobs.
Why is this somehow the exception? Genuinely curious, my gf seems to hate the fact that her amazing tits is why I first hit on her, as though it would somehow be better if I'd wanted to fuck her because my psychic powers revealed to me that she's good at chess.
>>
guys:
1. how to i avoid beta orbiters or whatever they are called?
2. what is the best way to leave clear that you don´t have any interest in any contact besides removing them from facebook?
i seem to be a magnet for the orbiters and they just don´t fucking understand that i don´t answer to them because they annoy me.
>>
girls: are any guys apart from the unreasonably hench ones actually attractive? or are you just like, he's charming and doesn't look offensively bad.

i look pretty normal but i can't imagine anyone finding me attractive
>>
How do I stop being needy?

I'm in kind of an LDR situation (1.5 hours travel, she studies, I work full time) with my gf.

I feel like every day my emotions are defined by how well the conversation went her or whether she responded to me. It's even worse now because I know she's really busy and yet I still feel awful when she can't talk. I do find it genuinely amazing the amount of effort she's putting into her studying and yet I selfishly feel left out.

Every time I'm doing something I enjoy I picture her there with me and what we'd be talking about, and then it dawns on me how pathetic that is and I feel awful. So basically I think I love her. But it's painful.

I know it'll get better once we have more free time but I'm very aware that my attitude is not a healthy one to have.
>>
>>17016884
>Arm on shoulder sude squeeze? Back pats? Head rubs?
Yes, these are OK.

>>17016885

>1. how to i avoid beta orbiters or whatever they are called?

Tell them straight out you don't want to talk to them or hang out with them and they annoy you. "Men don't understand why women don't just speak frankly" is some kinda classic trope or cliche and it applies here.

Hey I got a question, this is a unique circumstance for me.
I won't give the back story but essentially, this cute girl that I met last week at this place I worked had someone give me her number today so that we can talk.

I don't even know what to say, because usually when I get a girl's number its from her in person, and not through someone else.

What do? Is this a trap?
>>
>>17016941
Pretty sure I'm not the opposite sex to you but I would not bother with this. Not because I think it's some kinda childish highschool-ass trap but because a woman who can't even give me her own fucking number or god forbid just ask me out, isn't worth my time.
>>
Ladies, I'm 24 y/o and never been in a relationship. Haven't bothered me much, but lately I'm just feeling more and more lonely. I just wonder about a few things that makes me really insecure about even bothering trying to get in a relationship. I've been told I'm snoring loud, and my penis is 4.5. Would you see any of this as a dealbreaker?

Do girls notice muscle gains?

I've been in the gym for the last 4 months.
In 2 more months, I'm going to meet her again.

I've gained so far like 10 lbs of muscle. When I meet her, I expect 15-20.

Will that be noticeable?
I'm gonna be in a suit.
I hope to make it smaller than it should so that my gains are recognizable.

I was super skinny before but now I have so much more weight in muscle.
Do women pay attention to that?
My shoulders are twice as big as they were before. Does that show through white shirts?

My friend and her boyfriend just broke up. He put up a Facebook status that makes her sound like she cheated (she didn't) and ended it with "I don't want to talk about it". Women - how do you feel about asking a guy out?

What are some casual things guys do that are minor or major turnoffs?

Do you appreciate it if guys are forceful and a bit rude, or relaxed and a bit nice?
>>
>>17017002
>Is defending her worth the drama it's going to cause?
No.

Longer answer: Obviously not. Why would it *ever* make sense to barge in on the "other side" of the breakup to claim that the people showing him sympathy for obvious reasons and in basically ancient ways are wrong and should learn the whole story? What the hell are you thinking?
>>
Guys, how big of an ego boost would it be if your gf sexually never wanted anyone as much as she did you?
>>
>>17017040
I know it's a bad idea, I just wanted someone to reaffirm it. As to why I would want to: it's simple. Someone's enticed someone else into talking shit about my friend and I don't like that. I don't see how it's not obvious that it would be the natural reaction of a person to want to defend their friend.
>>
>>17017048

>>
>>17017048
That's...nice? I'm really not interested in comparing myself to other guys or, by extension, indulging in her comparisons. I'm glad she's reached new heights of satisfaction. It's enough for me that I can offer what she's looking for.

>>
>>17017034
A bit nervous I guess? I'm shy.
Major tunoffs: cigarette smoking, arrogance, making their friends look bad, rape jokes, no depth of thought into at least the most obvious concepts and ethical dilemmas, uninterested in learning new things and skills, not looking for a serious relationship
Minor tunoffs: way taller, doesn't like the outdoors, doesn't like animals, scared to try new things
Relaxed and nice.

Girls what advice can you give to a guy who's dating a girl who is insecure about her looks?
I'm no male model or anything, very average. She's overweight and just not pretty. And I don't even care, I'd rather have someone I love who looks meh then a porn star who is hard to deal with.

Her friend told me a week ago that she "thought I was making fun of her" when I asked her out initially.
I see things like this >>>/soc/23618290 or a story about a girl who was dating an ugly dude who was so insecure at overhearing people tell her she could do better than him (yeah the genders are reversed but it's the same concept) and it worries me. I love her but I fear that her feeling not good enough will eventually end things.
>>
I was training this girl that I used to go to school with today at work and she was acting quite a bit different. She was talking about what she was doing tomorrow and asked about my plans, playing with her clothes, biting her lip/finger (only when trying out something new, we work with computers) and when I'd talk to her she would arch her back a bit.

I know a lot of how she was behaving seems to indicate interest but its also very likely just nerves. Any thoughts females? Do you act this way when you're nervous?
>>
>>17016970
No
>>
>>17017002
Fuck no
Guys are obligated to support their guy friends in these situations regardless of the story
>>
A coworker of mine stared into my eyes for a good 30 secs to a minute+, and kept deliberately standing very close to me and what sounded like nervous laughing after everything she said. We've been working together for a couple months and I'll be training her on some stuff next week. She said she'd bring in some popcorn and netflix because it's a night shift without a whole lot to do.

I don't want to look too much into it, but it felt very different. That's the vibe I got. I don't want to shit where I eat and I don't think we're very compatible either, to be honest. I'm a couple years ago. Both in our 20s.

>we flirt and clearly must have interest in eachother to some degree, she buys me food and does nice things for me, we open up about our past, have even had semi romantic kind of situations and we look into each others eyes a lot
>feel like I'm falling for her a bit
She ditched on our plans to go to a show today, and ignored me when I asked if she wanted to smoke, then I realized I was coming off desperate and she seemed like she was being distant, flipped the script and I am ignoring her and getting her attention more

Do I go for the kiss next time I see her or should I wait till she shows some sort of sign that she wants something? >>17017705
first category: 1-2. basically not even fetishes, just average things.

second category: 4-7, depending on the extent of their interest in those things. bondage is a pretty broad field nowadays. (lactation is on the high end)

so overall i'd say 2-6 for them ,probably closer to 4. it really depends on the extent of their interest with things like bondage, degradation, etc. some people are just like "tee-hee, fucking while wearing handcuffs, bondage is awesome!" and other people are like "oh you're gonna tie me to a pole and let 20 guys run a train on my asshole and then leave me out to dry, awesome!" most people are closer to the former than the latter but theres really no way to know.

Explicitly tell them you don't want them to contact you. It can't get any more direct than that.

I only ask about someone's love life if it's something I know they're okay talking about. If you haven't brought up your relationship status, I'm not going to mention it. I don't know why women do this. Maybe it's because they think that success is tied to whether you're in a relationship or not?

Going out of your way to cater to her is not going to build a healthy relationship. If she can't accept that you're serious about what you say, it's not your fault, and there's nothing you should be doing other than telling the truth, always.

Is this a normal reaction to a breakup, or should I be afraid? I went on a few dates with a guy and ended it as gently as possible, because I felt he might have anger issues. I didn't say that though, but he did get irate during the breakup, cursing at me and ordering me out of the house, sit down, stand up, get in the car, get out. Saying he was pissed and hated me. I just apologized. Then he sent a picture flipping me off today, a week later. I'm very shy and never made an enemy before. How should I respond- don't reply? Is it irrational to feel scared?
>>
>>17018028
It's not, the guy sounds like a psycho. He probably browses r9k or he's one of those MGTOW/redpill posters who hate women and think women owe them sex and relationships. Block him everywhere, cut all contacts, stay away from him and don't be afraid to ask for help. He does have anger issues and that makes him a danger to you.

I'm really self conscious about the fact that it's conventional that our male coaches and support staff for our [female] sports team is just chilling in the locker room with us before games when we're getting dressed. Why do I feel bad about this if I'm not fat/ugly and the guys are married, etc?

Why is it that all of my friends become retarded when they get GF's? They were once so cultured and intelligent, but now they're mindless apes who talk about vagina all the time. It makes me hate women, as a gay male.
>>
I think my girlfriend is gay, but she says she isn't... but it just doesn't make sense.

In high school she was kicked out by her super-religious sister for telling her she might be gay. She went to go live with other family for a while and came back to the sister and I guess they made up, but she's not gay anymore apparently at this point.

She's told me if she wasn't with me, she'd be with a girl. I'm the "exception".

We don't have sex anymore.

I've asked her straight up if she was still a lesbian and whether or not she wanted to truly be with a woman, and told her I support her and love her either way, but she got a little angry and said she's not a lesbian anymore.

I don't know... I just dont buy it.
Today she told me she masturbated to lesbian porn last night, and we started getting in the conversation of her lesbianism again... but I just beat around the bushes this time... It really seems like she's a lesbian and I don't know what's going on. I'm confused. I feel like I could be loving her more or feeling more about her... but I just can't.

She's about to see a psychologist for the first time next week, so maybe something will happen... but I feel like I might be taken for a ride, a 3 year ride.
>>
>>17018052
I don't find him creepy at all. He's married with kids and the physiotherapist guy has a gf. The other girls don't seem to be self conscious but I am. I usually just change into my clothes in the toilets within the locker room. How can I get over myself?

Just don't reply, ignore him as much as you can and if he persists, report him to the cops. It's normal to be scared, some guys with anger issues go on to do seriously stupid shit. If you have any mutual friends, tell them he needs to get some anger management help.

In the future, try to be sure of these things before ever going on a date with the guy, it's usually pretty obvious even from a distance.
>>
>>17018084
How do I tell if someone has anger issues from a distance? He acted nicely the first couple meetings, including being nice to other people. I did a background check and he had no history. I really want to learn how to be a better judge of character, because this is the second time this has happened. The first time I moved cities, but I can't move this time. Should I hold off on the romance until we get back or just go for it anyway? We seem flirty+interested together and I don't want to let that fade away, but again it could be a waste of a fun vacation.

When there are problems that are making one or both of you unhappy, and you've done everything you can to try and fix them, but they can't be resolved.
>>
>>17018094
>How do I tell if someone has anger issues from a distance?
Generally, the thing about guys with anger issues is that they can't hold it in forever: you're bound to see an outburst if you just watch them long enough. Games in particular are a great way to tell how he reacts to losing (try watching him play both a physical game with others and a 2player game/multiplayer video game: some people can restrain their anger around others but burst out when alone, and vice versa).

>I really want to learn how to be a better judge of character, because this is the second time this has happened.
Consider dating guys after getting to know them better: if you're in college, you'll usually know quite a bit (and be able to ask around) about guys in your classes/dept/major program. Network as much as you can to hear about new guys and find people who know/have dated potential matches.

And if you're having this problem often, you might want to see if your taste in guys is an issue (your friends can help with this). Generally, we talk about judging character on a small scale, as in comparing 2 guys, risk of cheating, likelihood of being a good long-term partner, etc: whether he's a gigantic flaming prick who can't control himself for shit should be somewhat clear from the get-go. Ask friends what signs they look out for in potential dates.
Also, these sorts of problems are rarer with better-educated/more successful guys: they tend to have a better understanding of acceptable behavior, more self-control, and far more to lose by chimping out, so they tend to be safer.

>Won't he be even more angry if I report him? He could lose his job then really be out to get me.
Yeah, this is a risk. Problem is that if nobody reports him, he's free to keep chimping out and terrorizing people at will. At some point, it has to stop. If he does something criminal (eg threatening, stalking) then i'd say go to the cops. At least after that, he'll no longer have a clean background check.
>>
>>17018064
Completely diffuse any sexual tension. This can be done by either banging him or being really gross around him.
>>
>>17018116

I agree that she should take measures to protect herself and that the guy is a lunatic, but 4chan (and the rest of the Internet) tends to exaggerate the living shit out of the MRA/MGTOW/r9k/red pill memes. The reason for this seems to be because they're scared to make negative memes about women or criticize women, so they go balls to the wall against guys instead.

I always found it weird how the people who try to argue about "not all feminists" are some of the same ones who will call MRA toxic because of some extremes.

You'd figure the two could commiserate in their victimhood.
>>
>>17018183
Thank you for taking the time to write all that out. It really helps. I did choose well-educated guys with a career going, but they weren't friends of friends. I'll change that from now on. The competitive games idea is smart. I don't want this to happen to someone else, so I feel less reluctant to report it if it gets worse.
>>
>>17018250
That's great if you're reasonable about it and don't blow smoke around people. But it's at best a neutered cigarette, with an obnoxious smell and less significant health risks.

Then there's also the simple fact that vape users are rarely as polite as your example.
>>
Girls would you be suspicious of a guy liking you if they text you out of nowhere even though you don't text often and you only hang out on the occasion?
>>
>>17018266
Yes. A guy has to show sexual/romantic interest during the first few times he meet her or otherwise she sees you as a non sexual friend. It's too late to make a move now if she already sees you as just a friend that she texts for entertainment.
>>
>>17018250
I find any kind of smoking gross. It probably comes from my dad needing to smoke. He vapes now. I don't like being around it.
>>
>>17018277

>>
>>17018277
oh we don't really text for entertainment the few times we texted were to just either to make plans or talk about life stuff. However I did not know about that first few times contact thing.
>>
>>17018290
I can see where that guy is coming from. I mean of course friendships sometimes develop into something more, but the vast majority of the time the interest is one sided and I think most people would agree with that.

There's nothing wrong if you start liking a friend in a more romantic sense, but it's generally going to be a failed venture.
>>
>>17018260
I only vape where there are designated smoking areas or just my house/ car because I don't want my lingering cloud bothering people. And I guess the worst stigma of vaping come from the inconsiderate assholes that just blow smoke everywhere and make a big scene about it in public.
>>
>>17018293
The having to show interest early thing shows that you have enough balls to be open to getting rejected in a sexual sense. A lot of girls don't like it when their guy friends start to like them sexually because it makes the friendship sound like a bait and switch. It goes both ways though. If she rejects you and wants too keep you around as an orbiter, remember she's not entitled to friendship/attention from you if you're not getting anything out of it. I see too many guys make this mistake and it builds resentment for everyone involved.

Guys - are there times when you don't want to see your girlfriends, but would rather be alone? For example, if you're unwell or feeling a bit anti-social?

I love being with my boyfriend but there are times we don't see each other because he doesn't feel like up to it. I'm not clingy, but I do want to spend time with him if we're both free because I work a lot and it isn't always possible.

I feel like I'm being selfish but I'd probably see him even if I wasn't feeling 100%, just so I could be with him. Is this purely a clingy female way of thinking? I can't help but think maybe he's just avoiding seeing me.

Introverts need time alone, especially if you're not marriage-tier close yet.
Ideally it's good to try to find as good of a match as possible in extro/intro-version, but that's not really feasible due to the distribution of both among males and females (guys are slightly more introverted on average, and moderately/strongly introverted guys outnumber girls 5 to 1 or more). Just make sure the difference isn't too drastic between you, or you won't have a lot of fun in the long term.

I asked a guy out recently. I did it mostly because I knew he was interested in me before but didn't do anything, since he thought I'm "out of his league" (what does it even mean) and didn't pick up on clues that I like him, so I decided it's best to see where we stand. He agreed (I did some "research" among his friends earlier to minimise the chances of rejection), but I have to say the whole process was very stressful. I understand how difficult it is for guys bc they feel a societal pressure to be the one asking out, but I would also appreciate if people did something to reduce the social stigma on girls asking guys out, I would like it to be more acceptable but I've heard stories about guys losing interest when a girl explicitly asks them out

Both guys and girls, I'm under the impression this is a fairly casual look but I fear I might just be deluded (thanks /cgl/) and will, in reality, stick out like a sore thumb dressing like this.

What do you think when you see someone wearing something like this out? Is it somewhat strange yet acceptable, or too crazy as a daily look?
>>
>>17018559

It would stand out and wouldn't look casual, but without having any other examples besides that, I think it's a good, unique look. I wouldn't judge you harshly for it, just turn my head and be like "huh cool look." Unless you're a large woman, in which case you could be drawing unwanted looks... Sorry if that's mean.

Anyways, I knew a girl back in the day that wore the most esoteric outfits, but she owned them so well that every person she met thought she had the best style they'd ever seen.
>>
>>17017644
It's a super difficult situation. You will probably hurt your friend's feelings a lot, but there are ways to minimise it. First, just tell her you don't want to have sex with a friend anymore bc you want to look for a more serious relationship (don't mention you already met someone you're interested in). If she reacts calmly, just stop seeing her in private for a while so you don't have sex, but keep doing friends things with her, idk, study, go do sports together, whatever you like to do with your friends. After some time has passed and you have a feeling she moved on, make a move on the girl you were interested in. Maybe try to find a new crush for your former fwb?

If your fwb reacts badly to you no longer wanting to have sex with her, try to have an extremely honest talk with her. Tell her she's a great person but she's simply not someone you would see yourself in a relationship with, even though you value her as a friend. Say it's due to your personal preferences and it's not her fault, and that she should look for a relationship with someone that can fully appreciate her and love her, rather than just be a fwb like you. Tell her you would like to go back to being friends; maybe decide together on a date when you stop sleeping with each other so she has more time to adjust. Emphasise on how you value her as a friend. Still, don't mention you're interested in another girl under any circumstances. Then proceed as I described above

Source: I was in a similar situation myself, it went well

well she has to have some nice things about her, like pretty eyes, clear skin etc. Compliment what you know is good looking about her

Also in general, for both genders I wish people stopped comparing couples in terms of looks. I'm considered to be an attractive girl and many times in the past it actually stopped me from hitting on guys I found attractive but I knew many people would find them average, or flawed in some way. Like I was afraid of others judging me ("she could do way better, wtf is she doing"). Maybe you will get similar comments. But we just need to learn to be less judgemental about others as a society and don't give a fuck about what small-minded people say

As long as you find her attractive, that's all that matters, and if she mentions the topic to you just say you're not comparing her to anyone else bc you're in love with _her_

Being overweight is a health issue though, maybe gently encourage her to do sports together with you, cook healthy stuff together or something, it could improve her health and boost her confidence

>>
>>17017833
that's what many people like to talk about regardless of gender, because unlike your career or internship (which may be in the field they know nothing about) they can mostly relate to and comment on someone's love life

I find it pretty annoying myself, whenever I meet old friends I would like to talk about how are they doing with work/studies or their interests, but it always seems like relationship gossip is what interests them the most. I actually wanted to open up to some people about my relationship situation recently so it wasn't that bad, but very often it would be a grup of old frends literally forcing me to say if I'm single, or if I'm dating someone, or if yes, then whom. Really annoying
>>
Both genders, I'd like some tips on self-improvement. I'm about a 4 or 5/10 girl and I obviously want to change that. I'm saving up for cosmetic surgery (nothing major) but in the meantime I want to do what I can. Things I've already been doing:
>develop a nice tan
>get clearer skin
>start working out
>get subtle looking acrylics
>learn to style my hair better
>wear colours i know fit my complexion
>broaden my knowledge on makeup (so far, learned to properly do my eyebrows and to apply blusher)

>>
>>17018053
well try to change the topic when you talk to them?

as a straight girl I observed a similar effect when my female friends got boyfriends and would only talk about stuff like "so X was at my place yesterday and he ate 2 pizzas so funny haha". The best advice I have is just meet together with some other friends who are single or try to change the topic to those that interest you
>>
>>17018645
well you'd have to say what you don't like about your appearance

What worked for me personally (so much that friends who didn't see me for a few years would say "you became very pretty since we last saw each other" lol):
> as you mentioned, eyebrows: if they are too bushy, do something about them (not too much, thick eyberows can look very good but take care of unibrow etc.), if they're invisible, look into make up that makes them more visible (can't help you with this)
> remove any other facial hair if you have any (but don't get too paranoid about it, people don't notice a few light-sih hair)
> makeup yes, but also learn how to feel confident without it and/or with minimal makeup - but you can do that later, first learn how to do makeup that flatters you. Blusher? I would say start with a concealer or a light BB cream foundation if your complexion isn't spotless (and it probably isn't); just be careful to get a product that doesn't clog your pores, making your skin worse. After concealer/foundation, powder if your skin is oily. Then, a good eyeshadow base (Urban Decay has an amazing one) and simple eyeshadows (one or 2) complimenting your eye colour and making your eyes look bigger. An eye pencil along your lash line, especially if you don't have thick lashes. A good mascara that doesn't dry, leaving black stuff under your eyes (I recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear, but you might need something with a stronger effect if your lashes aren't too thick). For lips, any colour that suits you, but nothing to dark if you have thin lips. Then you can use some blush, but not too much
> switch from glasses to contact lenses if you need them. There are people who look good with glasses but all of them would look even better without them
> clothes. You didn't mention them. Try to develop your own style that compliments your figure. Again I can't say more without knowing how you look like, but almost everyone looks terrible in uggs, shapeless old hoodies etc
>>
>>17018671
btw, if you use a foundation /BB cream and still have "imperfections" showing through it, like dark circles under eyes or pimples, use concealer on them. I wrote concealer/founation bc concealer only might be sufficient, but very often I wear both. All of this stuff needs to be good quality (doesn't necessarily mean expensive) and chosen for your skintone; once you find a good makeup product, stick with it
>>
>>17018496
>is there a point in disclosing fetishes that I don't have an interest in bringing into the bedroom? Or just keep it to myself?
Just keep it to yourself if you don't want to bring it to the bedroom.
I honestly don't really care about what my boyfriend masturbates to, especially at the beginning.
>>
>>17018671
Maybe I wasn't clear about it but I already wear makeup besides blusher (concealer, foundation, powder, mascara, eyebrow shit). A small question about the eye makeup though: I have extremely hooded eyes (that's what I'll be getting surgery for), should I just wait with the eyeliner and eyeshadow until after the surgery or is there anything that looks good with my eye shape?

As for the clothes, as I said I've been trying to wear colours that fits my complexion. I'm fairly confident about my style as I've been into fashion for years.

Ha I suspected the minor surgery would be about something like this (and that's why I didn't write anything about it, I'm not a fan of major surgeries). Few of my friends have this problem but I personally don't, so unfortunately I don't have much good advice. I think there are still ways to apply eye makeup that will make your eyes look better, but I would search on the internet for it, or find a celebrity with eyes similar to yours and look at her makeup. Just by googling "makeup hooded eyes" I see some good tips

Alright I need advice

I've been in a lecture 4 times a week for the past 5 weeks with a QT.

Now, the first time we talked she was loud. Second third time she started getting abit quiet, she's complimented me a few times.

This far in is it going nowhere? What should I do?

Saying you chose her for her boobs is impersonal. It's not something she put effort into, the way she might have put effort into her clothing choices or hairstyle. You could say the same about nice eyes or a nice smile, but boobs are more sexual. You imply she's good enough for a one night stand, which isn't that big of a compliment. She might think anyone with that size of boobs would appeal to you and it has nothing to do with her specifically. She could take it as predatory or viewing her as meat, even if that wasn't your intention. She has also probably heard that she has great boobs a hundred times already and would like to be noticed for something else. Not speaking for every girl, just my guesses.

A mix would be ideal - Dark hair, beard, pale skin, light eyes.
Sexy as fuck.

A directed at guys, but for girls also if they feel like contributing.

I'm going for a first date with a guy tomorrow. I definitely like him, but we're both kind of awkward (I also have social anxiety, mild enough that I'm able to meet him in a bar, but bad enough that I'm freaking out about it). I can already think of a few possible conversation topics, but I'm not sure how the conversation and my general behaviour should look like. Should I try to flirt with him? How? Or try to be funny? Should I try to kiss him afterwards, and if not, what should I do for goodbye, and how to arrange the next date

Any suggestions welcome (we already know each other relatively well so it's not about making a good first impression, but rather making him sure he wants to date me)
>>
>>17018762
ask her out, she probably fancies you
>>
>>17018775
Not really, where I live it's fairly common. I think between my fb friends at least 2/10 have dark hair and light eyes/complexion.
But, anyway, in general I do prefer lighter skin and eyes, even if I'm not a huge fan of light hair.

I've seen the same girl twice in the same place, and I fancy her style. I've noticed she also likes a particular Anime series, as she has a backpack with its logo.

She's always with a small group of friends (all girls). Is there a way for me to approach her without resulting creepy?

I'm having trouble getting my gf off because she gets sore from sex fairly quickly. She says she feels like she gets close then loses it. This usually happens a few times and then she gets sore and we have to wrap things up. She was a virgin before she met me and never masturbated or anything like that, so she doesn't really know what works for her and the idea of oral sex is weird to her (I'm warming her up to the idea though, I feel like I'd be able to give her an orgasm that way since I can't imagine that would make her sore).

With my previous gf I would just use my hands to get her excited then fuck her hard til she came, which was pretty simple so I didn't exactly become an expert on getting girls off with her. Sometimes she'd get off just on my hands, so maybe she was just more sensitive
>>
>>17018763
>It's not something she put effort into, the way she might have put effort into her clothing choices or hairstyle.
But... what's *effort* got to do with physical attractiveness?
>>
>>17018859
this is always a very hard thing to give advice on sinceevery girl is so different.
but i'm a bit similar. i'm very sensitive and direct stimulation (and yes, oral is too much tooo sometimes) might feel good at the beginning, but when i get aroused and my sensitivity hightens, it's overkill. it almost feels like my clit goes numb and there's no way i'm getting an orgasm like that.
what works BEST for me is when i'm making out with my bf and am already horny. then he starts to play with my boobs (my nipps are very sensitive too. comparable to my clit actually) and rubbing me trough my pants. this is usually very good since the fabric acts as a puffer-zone and over time we figured out how to give me fairly quick and predictable orgasms that way.
good luck anon

i adore terre d'hermes. but it's also pretty expensive. on the other hand, i strongly recommend to get a good cologne. the cheap ones usually smell like shit. if it's too expensive, you could wish for a bottle on your bday or christmas or something...

Guys
Every other day my boyfriend says that I don't love or care about him because I don't text him often. He says that his ex girlfriend would text him all the time, tell him they loved him very often...
I have never been extremely affectionate though texts, I have more interesting things to talk about and anyways I don't feel like texting and chatting all the time, I have a life.

Is there a way to make him feel better about this?
>>
>>17018859

Sorry of have the same problem with my wife. She is squeamish about oral and hands do nothing for her. Also I am on the large side so if I pound then she gets sore and wants me to just get off and climb the fuck off of her.

What works for her is foreplay, start out slow. Use a little lube and just do some outercourse to start with. When she feels hot and ready she will tell you. Ease in slowly and only part way and move very slowly at first. As she gets more and more sexually excited, keep going slowly but keep going just a little bit deeper.

I eventually am close to bottoming out and then I slowly grind myself on her clothes and pubic bone... slowly, and this gives her a mind blowing orgasm everytime.

Sex takes practice to get good at it. I have mastered control of myself to where I can come 9 times out of 10 right when she comes. Nothing is better than climaxing at the same time, raw.

Every woman is different.
>>
>>17018912
>Is there a way to make him feel better about this?
you don't have to do stuff the same way as his ex did. google the languages of love. he seems to rely on words big times. you can try to give him a bit more of that, but if it's not your style and he NEEDS it then you might not be very compatible
>>
>>17018943
He says he feels very loved when we're together, that I take good care of him, that I'm an amazing girlfriend but if we're apart for, like, two days the "you don't care about me" cancer starts.
It is just so annoying, I feel like dating a teenager sometimes.
>>
>>17018362
I've only ever met two people that I could just spend time around indefinitely without needing some time to just be by myself.
Some people are just like that, but it might be a concern if it remains this way well into the relationship. Kind of hard for a married couple to get away from each other, but that's a concern for much later.
>>
>>17018950
i have kind of a similar bf and i, too, tend to take a while to write back/hate texting. what i do is that i just shoot him a funny pic sometimes. that way he knows i'm thinking about him and it's a "life sign" of me. but i make sure to not wait too long to text back. sometimes i have to remind myself to pick that phone back up, open whatsapp and just reply right NOW, goddamnit. he's my bf. i love him very much. and if this is what he needs to feel loved, so be it. i can put in THAT little effort. it's more than worth it.

To make it brief, I am pretty much the equivalent of a shutin loser weeaboo, but I'm not a guy. I like figures, I save 1080p chinese cartoons on hard drives, I draw anime styled characters, I am all around weeaboo.

Ironically, guys who are like me or even similar to me in many ways often clash with me. I can't stand their personalities and their interest in the things I love turns me off the things I like and also incites some kind of weird agitation in me. I am fine with other women who are hopeless weebs and tend to be interested in making acquaintances with reclusive guys who prefer other things and don't have "internet" hobbies.

I don't understand this double standard, granted my experiences with men sharing my interests have been nothing short of awful. I try to go into things giving the benefit of the doubt and always leave disappointed and aggravated. I have my life pretty well together beyond my enjoyment of these things, but I have no need to share it. In a potential relationship, in fact, I would rather have fewer things in common.

tl;dr I don't like guys who share my interests, will this mean I am doomed to be alone if I maintain those interests?

I think you should find a different hobby that is not anime related to find someone to date.

I like anime too. I wouldn't say on a weeaboo level, but even I am annoyed with most men who like anime. And I get what you mean, I clash hard with male anime fans too.

But, my boyfriend has never watched anime. However, we have similarities outside of that. Generally with music, life views, our senses of humor match, food, etc.

You don't need to have the same hobbies. You do need to have chemistry. At the same time, your hobbies cannot rule over your relationship either tho.

Is it possible that my body is actively trying to betray me?

it has happened not once, not twice, but TRICE! that i got pregnant unintentionally. the first time i got pregnant depsite the correct use of a condom. i could understant that. there's the chance of getting semen somewhere else, or there might have been a tiny hole, whatever. after that i got the pill. and i got pregnant again... i was very serious about taking them correctly, after i had to get an abortion the first time this happened. after that i said fuck it and got an iud to eliminate the possibility of human error. and guess what? i still got pregnant. the ultrasound revealed that it has vanished somehow. and now:
>got hormonal iud to be EXTRA safe.
>have gotten frequent ultrasounds to make sure everything is in the right place and such
>everything goes smooth for a year
>now i'm overdue for 4 days. i have very regular periods... if i'm late it usually means one thing.

GOD DAMNIT /adv/. what did i do to deserve this shit? i swear, i feel like i did everything i could to prevent this. do i just have to get my tubes ties? with my luck i will pop out twins after a year...
>>
>>17019027
use condoms while taking the pill? I'm super paranoid and except for the last few days before my period I do that

the chance of getting pregnat with condom + pill is like less than 0.5%, if it happened you would be a medical anomaly
>>
>>17019051
that's why i got a hormonal iud. the pearl index is 0.16. the index for female sterilisation is at 0.3. i actually do feel like a medical anomaly. i have used double birthcontrole, but after a while i start to think i'm wayyy too paranoid and that it CAN't possibly be that i will still get pregnant - again. and then it still happens. a fuck this.

What's the oldest you can be never having a relationship before it's weird?
>>
>>17018792
Mont Blanc Legend is good. Very mature scent, not like something you expect a 19 year old douchebag to be wearing at the club. It's understated but I actually prefer that since you aren't stinking up every room you walk into all day. Think of it more like coming home from work, taking a shower, putting on some fresh clothes and smelling good for a night out.
>>
>>17019088
Age doesn't make it weird as much as the "why." You can be 18 and a total weirdo, which would also explain quite clearly why you've been single. You could be 30 and never have had a relationship because your life has been tough.

When it comes to age the problem isn't weirdness, it's whether other people you age simply have the patience for you to learn the ropes. The sooner you overcome the causes of your singleness and get some practice, the easier it'll be to find people who can offer you that opportunity. Wait too long and frankly no one will willing to teach. That's not because you're a weird person. Even if you're a wonderful person they're just beyond the point of wanting to bother anymore.

so yesterday i had a heart to heart with a girl i've been seeing for several months, and told her how some of the things she's been doing made me feel. i tried to be as uncritical or accusatory as possible, but she texted me a couple hours afterwards to say that she felt very insulted by the entire convo, and that i made her feel very aware of her flaws. i told her that wasn't my intent, but i was sorry if i had hurt her. haven't heard back from her since.

how should i proceed? i don't want to be begging for forgiveness for being open about what i was feeling, but i also don't want to her to remain hurt.
>>
>>17019123

Some examples of what she was doing that made you feel like crap? She sounds immature and selfish if she can't handle feeling guilty about herself. You don't need that shit in your life. She should care more that she is making you feel bad and sheven should feel grateful to have a guy that wants to openly communicate with her about his feelings.

Literally shit tier woman who complains about there being no good guys but doesn't realize she isn't good enough for a good guy.

we've been seeing each other for about 3 months. i'm always the one contacting her (i once didn't text first, just to see what would happen, and went 48 hours without even "hey what's up"), and making plans for dates, etc. it's weird, because i'd normally just end things, but when we're together things are awesome, and we have interesting conversations (and the physical side of things is great). i'm pretty confident that she really likes/is attracted to me, but she doesn't know at all what she wants from a relationship.

another thing that happened was a week or so ago i got introduced to her friend group, and she complained afterwards that i wasn't affectionate in public. i apologized, but told her i was really confused about what level of physical stuff was appropriate in front of her friends when we weren't even bf/gf. since then, things have felt especially distant, which prompted our conversation yesterday.

Is it normal for a dude to be more into giving than recieving sexually?

I'm 22 and I've had 2 sexual experiences ever, with 2 different guys. Neither involved penetration. The first guy tried to get me off but I wasn't really enjoying it so I focused on him, which worked pretty well. The second guy seemed barely interested in me touching him, and when I did it didn't seem to do all that much, but he was really enthusiastic about touching me and giving me oral, which I thought was weird and feel kind of offended by since I wanted to return the favour or whatever.

I'm very inexperienced for someone my age so I get it if I'm just not good at it or whatever but the first guy came 3 times so it can't be that bad. I don't understand why the second guy wouldn't want me to do anything for him?
>>
>>17019176

Yup... she is really immature and she probably is bored of you. She wants a reason to break up with you so that she doesn't feel guilty about ending it. Hence, the fake offense over something that was perfectly legit.

Don't give her the satisfaction. Make sure to break up with her first and just say that you don't think it will work out. If she asks just say that you don't think she is that into you anymore and that you deserve somebody that you can talk openly with.

This will make her feel like shit. People grow up when they feel like shit about themselves.
>>
>>17018779
>I'm not sure how the conversation and my general behaviour should look like
Don't worry about it, if he's awkward too then neither does he.
>Should I try to flirt with him? How?
However you want, whatever comes to mind. Smile, laugh at his jokes.
I'd suggest not googling "how to flirt" and doing those things: unless you're not as awkward as you say, it could look strange and forced.
>Or try to be funny?
Rarely hurts, unless it's spectacularly and personally offensive.
Even if it's bad it tends to lighten the mood. Again make sure to laugh, it's contagious.
>Should I try to kiss him afterwards
If you hit it off well and you're very confident in your seductive skills, go for it.
>what should I do for goodbye
However you normally say goodbye. If it went well and you enjoyed it, tell him so.
>how to arrange the next date
Usually that's done after the date, to give both people a chance to rest and think.
>we already know each other relatively well
>making him sure he wants to date me
If you know him, you should know how to do that a lot better than us.
Every guy has different tastes, different turn-ons, different "types", etc, pretty much have to tailor the plan to your target.

This makes me wonder about all the times people give advice on here saying "no, don't text him too often, let him text you first, etc, or you'll come off as clingy/needy/desperate/whatever"
>>
>>17018094
Wasn't he suspiciously way too nice? Either way, you could make some small provocations before meeting the guy in person. I'm a penis, but I like to provoke people naturally. I make ambiguous questions (questions that can be interpreted offensively) and gauge the reaction.
>>
>>17019027
>>17019065
There are some pretty funny anomalies/mutations that can screw you over (eg bicornate uterus), but it doesn't sound like you have any of em. Just unlucky.

If you get pregnant on a hormonal IUD while the guy was wearing a condom then you might just be cursed by an ancient artifact or something. Only thing left to try is copper IUD + pill + condom.
>>
I feel like every little "mistake" I make with my GF is permanent and can't be erased. I have difficulties getting over our "fights" (they're more like discussion than fights) and I feel guilty even if I did nothing wrong. It's probably because I care about her a lot, I'm afraid of losing her and I'm also a little insecure about some stuff.

How do I stop this train of thoughts and learn to stay calm and not screw my relationship up? She says she's happy with me, but I'm afraid she might dump me if I don't get a hold of myself.
>>
>>17019253
>cursed by an ancient artifact
kek
that might be it. maybe somebody did a fertility-spell over me or something.

i mean, there are so many girls out there who desperately try to get a baby; and here i am, getting pregnant left and right, despite being so carefull. it just boggles my mind.

i also don't react well to hormonal birth controle. that's why i went with a copper iud it first. and that's also why i am not fond of taking the pill again or getting an implant. and god, condoms just suck ass. they are a real hassle. but if i am actually pregnant AGAIN i will definitely start using more than one method at a time.

It's normal. Some people are strong "givers" or "receivers".
It's less popularized than the dominant/submissive dimension, but it can be just as important.

Look at BDSM for clear differences: receiver doms like to do things like holding the collar, sitting back, and getting oral sex from sex slaves. The focus is on them, they're king and they get whatever they want, their subs exist to serve and pleasure them.
Giver doms, on the other hand, like to have the focus on the subs: they're into things like giving forced orgasms in particular. Their own pleasure isn't the main event, the sub's is. They're playing with them, controlling them, teaching/indoctrinating them.
This naturally means that an ideal match (and smoothest, most natural encounter) is between giver doms and receiver subs, or receiver doms and giver subs.

Obviously things are less extreme in normal sex, but it still applies if you're looking for advanced levels of sexual compatibility, like you've just found out. Note that what you described (2 givers) is less ideal, but still pretty dang good (only tough one is 2 receivers) if you know what you're doing, since it's easy for both of you to focus on each other's pleasure: this is why things like 69s were invented after all.

A lot of people are great “on paper” daters. What I mean by that is that they go on dates regularly. They’re attractive, attentive, have good jobs, interesting skills and hobbies. They do the dinner conversations, they laugh in the right places, they talk about their lives, their families, their careers, their aspirations, their dog’s strange bathroom habits. They nail everything and yet…

…nobody sticks around.

Eventually, the phone stops ringing, the lame excuses pop up, or the ubiquitous, “We should just be friends” comes out.

Ultimately dating and finding a partner is an emotional process. People like this get the surface-level behaviors right, but they never engage the depth of their emotions and connect where the real life is. It’s like the difference between composing a concerto on piano and simply performing somebody else’s concerto.

Generating intimacy in a relationship requires emotional investment. That means you to open up about yourself in ways that may not be completely comfortable. It means exposing yourself. It requires you to share opinions and values that may polarize people and generate rejections. It requires you to be bold and take risks in going after what you want.

Tell them exactly what you want.

my bf is a bit similar.
i think it's an issue with him being insecure in general. he's a really awesome guy, but he always thinks that "i'm too good for him" or that he "doesn't know what he did to deserve me". he also often states that he is affraid to lose me. however, i love him to bits and i would do anything for him. we also don't really fight. but he feels terrible, everytime we talk about something "unpleasant". he fears of having "fucked up". luckily, i know what's behind all this and don't mind him acting this way. be carefull thought, if your gf can't see behing your behaviour she might get annoyed at some point. she probably loves you to bits and wouldn't want to lose you.

I just wanted him to like me so badly (even tho he already did because we were in a relationship). I just didn't want to ever fuck things up and in turn, this attitude did fuck us up a lot. Our first two years were emotional and filled with ups and downs over petty arguments that I overtried to fix.

Somewhere after the two year mark. I just had this revelation that "Holy shit, I need to calm down." I realized that I overthought too much and tried to be what I thought he ideally wanted. Which was wrong.

I laid back and did a bit of identity searching. Just started being my casual, comfortable self. Started being more careless. Accepted the fact that I should be me, and if bf is true, he'll like me for me.

I'm sorry if this answer is not what you're looking for. I just really had to chill out and let this be out of my control. And it did work out. We've been together 6 years. Minimal issues. I just had to find some sort of zen in accepting that I can't be all bf wants me to be, and trust that if he disagrees with me on trivial shit, it's not the end.

Thanks, femanons. Your stories fill me with hope. Sometimes I just feel like I'm crazy, but it's just that to me every relationship is like gold: I want to treasure and get the most of them.

Hope my girl will understand that.

you could try to tell her exactly what you just wrote in your post. she'll surely understand. maybe she even feels the same
>>

Yeah, the next time I see her I'll try to tell her what's up. I tried before, but I wasn't able to grasp what was going on in my head and I probably explained things in the wrong way.

Should I give up on the idea of dating my friend?

Basically my friend used to like me a few years back but I didn't think she liked me (used to talk about guys she though were hot, literally referred to me as a friend, etc). I did have feelings for her (and still do as you will read). She revealed this to me after I started dating another girl.

However now over the last few years we have remained good friends. But within the last year we have been hooking up with each other randomly.

About a month ago she brought up the idea of us dating saying that she wanted to. I agreed and we "dated" for about 2 days before she called it off saying that it "felt too weird" and that I was like a brother to her. Of course I took this very hard.

This past week her and I went to a concert and we were all over each other the whole time (holding hands, kissing, etc) followed by hooking up back at her place afterwards. During the night she said that she "didn't know what to call us anymore" and "didn't want to label anything."

I feel that all this hooking up shows that she is interested in me. Also, she got very jealous/mad when I hooked up with her friend one time and even got into a fight with her about it. She always makes fun of the girls I go on dates with too.

So what do you guys think? Do you think anything will ever happen with this or should I just give up?
>>
Guys.

Anybody here dated an 18 yr old girl while being in your 20s? What's it like?
>>
>>17019460
Hey, thanks a lot for that post. I've been having similar thoughts recently and feeling like I'm not good enough for my bf. I'll try to accept myself more. Glad it worked out for you, let's hope it does for me too!

Why do girls feel so threatened/jealus by porn?

all gfs ive had have gotten devastated when they found out that I sometimes jerk to porn, cant they understand that men and women are not the same?
>>
>>17019529
its pretty normal nowadays since every teen girl think she is "more mature" when infact she just a wannabe "woman".

I wouldnt go for it no matter how tight her body probably is, in the end shes probably just as immature as the people in her age even if she dosent think do.
>>
>>17018474
I'm not nagging her about it, she brings it up on her own, I'm only confused and try to figure out what's going on.
>>
Does anyone else try and use their size to intimidate others? Since I've started getting huge 6'2 98kg, one of the things I've started doing is just calling random people out in the street.

I usually go for smallish looking foreigners and try to find an excuse to pick a fight with them. For instance if they drop any litter, cross on a red, don't give up their seat on the bus etc, I'll just unload with a bit of verbal abuse and then see if they want to settle it like men.

It's funny as fuck seeing their pussy ass reactions. Usually they just apologise a lot and try to walk away with their heads down really embarrassed. It's extra fun if their with their gf.
>>
Is this guy trying to make me jealous or does he like this girl?

I noticed that he texts this one girl when he was looking at his whatsapp sitting next to me. Later I noticed that he tweeted this girl at night pretty much this "hey are you having fun" ":3333" "yeah.. What to do now, i am bored" "go to sleep".

Today we were comparing our twitter followers and when he got to the girl he just stayed there and stopped scrolling for a while.

So what do you think? I don't want to ask him about this yet since we are not together officially although he hints that he doesn't want me to see other men, says things like "you're mine now" "my girl" etc.
>>
>>17019602
it's not the fact that you look at porn. it's the fact that girls will try to live up to what they think are the things that turn you on. and when you look at a ton of porn, that's overwhelming. oh! he likes big boobs! oh, he likes bleached assholes! oh, he likes anal! oh he likes facial abuse! you get it...
girls can't get it into their head that you don't want her to do and be ALL that.

I actually do not know what this stems from. I'm a girl but I started having interest in porn at a young age as well. I just saw it, felt horny, liked it.

Most of my friends do not feel that way though. My best theory is that they personalize it too much. They think that men may feel an emotional connection or admiration to the actresses and want to be with them. I've had friends crying to me about their bfs watching porn and how they feel betrayed. I can't really empathize. I think they also assume that it's a weird powerplay too. They think that women in the porn industry are abused and taken advantage of. Maybe that they are whores, maybe assume that that is what their boyfriend actually wants instead of them.

From my experiences of watching porn myself, I never personalize anything I see. It's honestly just visual stimulation to increase my fantasies. I kinda assume that men do the same? At least, I know my bf watches porn, and he's not here obsessing over porn actresses and hoping to meet them and fuck them. It's literally visually stimulating to see a dick in a vag.

I spent some time with the girl I got a crush on again today.
We watched a movie together, but unfortunately, she had some writing assignments to do, so she couldn't stay with me in the common room for that long after the movie. Because we weren't alone there, I was unable to muster up the courage to make any moves on her, or talk to her about how much I like her. We just sat next to one another on the sofa.

I am thinking of trying to ask her out for a walk or something tomorrow, so that we could be by ourselves, but I dunno if that is a good idea. I don't really want to ask her out to the movies or just to hang out in the city again, as I don't know what to do there (plus there ain't really any good movies playing right now), and I don't want to bore her.
I am so friggin clueless about this shit, and it makes me so god damn nervous.

>I actually do not know what this stems from. I'm a girl but I started having interest in porn at a young age as well. I just saw it, felt horny, liked it.

this is how it is for 100% of all guys when they are 13-14. Why are 100% of all girls not experiencing this and understand why a guy watch porn?

Funny how we are getting "educated" over that "women are just as horny as men" and say that men are more horny than women are just "lies" these days when girls getting jealous/devestated by their bf watching porn is super usual.

Guys, can you get a girl off from doing oral?

I am not sure if I am unable to get off from oral or if my boyfriend just sucks at it. I barely feel anything. He rarely does it too.
>>
>>17019517
Definitely sounds like she's into you to some degree, I'd try and go for it.
>>
>>17019586
Some background is probably relevant. I met her at a college bar and we talked and I later learned that she was a virgin. I asked if it was a jesus thing and it wasn't so I'm wondering what all sorts of fucked up her parents have to be because she looks attractive enough. At the time I didn't really mind but school ended and she's taking a practicum overseas for a month and she'll obviously want to see me when she comes back and of course I'll have to meet the parents.

I'm dreading meeting the parents but I'll do it regardless, the problem is how strict are they going to be? Its a 4 hour round trip and I'm to old to be sleeping on couches, leaving the door open, and fuck visiting for just a day I'll want to make a weekend out of it. If I have a terrible time and she can't come visit me I'll just end it.

Don't be a fucking prick.
That said, calling out antisocial behavior is good.
For example, picking up litter and giving it back to people ("i believe you dropped this") helps keep your town clean and makes sure people don't start to think their behavior's acceptable.

how come when a girl kicks me in the nuts or pinches my ear and I tell her I'll call the cops they treat me like I'm royalty

>>
>>17019730
My boyfriend can make me come from oral, but it takes a consistent lick in the right spot for about 20-30 minutes. Which can be tiring, I guess. My mouth gets tired from giving oral to my boyfriend after about 15 mins. By the time he gets me to cum, he's lost his boner from concentration. He regains it from watching me cum, but it's kinda long and drags on if we're doing it as foreplay, takes too much patience.

Have you been diagnosed with an autism-spectrum disorder?
If not, maybe it's time to see a child psychologist.
>>
>>17019849
No. I've been through many programs and no one has diagnosed me with autism. I've even gone to a school with inclusion, and spoken to many counselors who have explained I have no traces of autism.

Is it weird that I constantly get kicked in the nuts by girls, or that I'm prone to getting attacked by women more than men?

I don't get into many fights at all with my own gender, mostly because if I do something they don't like, they don't retaliate by attacking me.

>>
>>17019666 (czech'd)
I'd suggest asking her to some normal fun activity you like to do, unless you take a lot of walks it will be a little weird. Makes more sense if you have some park/greenbelt/trail nearby that's made for that shit.
And don't worry about boring her too much, many romantic activities are only fun because you're doing them with people you like/love.

>>17019919
Some say it because they're trying not to seem like shallow whores.
Others say it because they aren't shallow whores.
This isn't rocket science.
>>
>>17019939
The problem is that I don't really do stuff that I think would interest her. I usually go to the city to just play 40k, or to buy food and shit.
I just don't know what I would ask her out to come do with me.
>>
>>17018254

I've gotten in a lot of deep shit for saying this, but it's a societal bias.

Decades of feminism combined with a sense of chivalry (protect women, don't insult them, don't hit them, etc.) has made the situation so lopsided, that women have the advantage. So MRAs are seen as extremely evil, and women abusing their western culture privilege are seen as 'normal', or perhaps even 'empowered'.

I've learned to adapt to the situation, but this is exactly the reason why the Internet and westerners in general despise MRAs yet hardly criticize feminists or women that act badly. Remember this explanation. People are scared to criticize women, so the go all-out against guys instead, because they are aware of the 'stigma' that exists around harming/criticizing women.

It's not fair for guys, but that's western civilization in a nutshell.

>>17019919
Every girl varies, but sex can be a really emotional thing for women. They can really be into their boyfriend or whoever and the sex is really good, as long as they don't have an absolute micropenis. Dildos hold zero emotional value, so why would they fuck around with something small? Stop being so self conscious about your dick.
>>
>>17019935
there is nothing women need more than a pussy to become a "good lover", stop making a feminazi argument.

>>17019939
So minus the latter (wich isnt the truth) im right then

>>17019983
bullshit andexcuses, sex is about pleasure and women get more pleasure by bigger dicks, its logic, you get pleasure by genitals colliding and bigger dicks stretches the vagina more, reaches areas inside avarages cant = more pleasure, you dont get pleasure by some "feelings", thats just pseudo sex-psychology we are getting brainwashed with today.
>>
>>17019981
I don't think that she would find watching a bunch of manchildren playing with their toy armies that interesting way to spend her time I'm afraid.
She does know that I am into that hobby, but she hasn't really made any indication of it interesting her in the least.

Besides, taking her with me to play 40k would sorta create a conflict of interests. When I play the game, I want to focus on it, and when I am with her, I want to focus on her. I can't do the both at the same time.

In the end, I just want to figure out how I can get to spend more time with her, that doesn't just involve us sitting on the sofa watching movies/videos from youtube in the common room of the apartment complex, while random other residents also are there.
The few times we have stayed up late (nearly to 1 am), and have been basically alone together, have been nice, but I can't really count on either of us being able to sacrifice our nightly sleep that way very regularly.

Not her but I think it's because girls and boys view sexuality differently. As in, I don't mind porn but I'm not a huge fan either because it's mostly bad bordering on ridiculous and I'm too lazy to search for the 1-in-100 video I like.
I think a lot of girls feel that way and instead read smut or simply fantasise. Men are more visual, I guess?

Perhaps girls are not curious enough to find more interesting types of porn? I got into a lot of different mediums and fetishes just by browsing the "adult" boards here, especially /d/.
Some of the erotica boards are even mostly femanons iirc, like /u/ and /y/. And /gif/ always has a mix of all sorts of things.
>>
>>17020222
I don't know honestly. I'm on /u/ occasionally and I wouldn't say I dislike porn generally, I'm just rather picky about it, so it's easier to fantasise or read smut stories/fanfiction/comics.
I'm not prude or anything either, I'm into some kinky stuff but even so (or maybe especially so) it's difficult for me to find porn I enjoy.
>>
New thread needed.

>>17020230
I guess i'm also picky, since i usually browse threads on /d/ with hundreds of pics and save maybe one or two. And yeah, format matters a lot, i'm also not the biggest fan of video (unless it's really genuine, high-quality rare fetish stuff). eg recently i've been going through the whole swfchan archive of erotic flash games, and a lot of the best are text-only (eg CoC, a classic).

High-quality games are probably the ultimate type of erotica for me since they're interactive: no other format lets you really put yourself in the story, make decisions, challenge yourself to succeed/fail, etc. I know guys are into games, but what about girls? Have most even played any erotic games?
>>
>>17020274
Personally I've never played any erotic games since I'm pretty sure most are made for and by guys, and like most porn, that usually results in content I don't like / can't immerse myself in.
I didn't think erotic games were an especially common porn thing for guys either, though.

Also there's already a new thread
