How the fuck do people choose what they want to go to school for?
It feels like one day I'm interested in one thing and the next it's something completely different.
I'm twenty fucking four and am still trying to decide.
I've gone to school twice already, and ended up not completing my programs.
First was general business. Second was addictions counselling.
Now I'm considering:
1) advertising & marketing communications
2) computer securties
3) electrician
4) computer engineering technology
5) programming/coding
what the fuck
why are my interests all over the fucking place
what if I pick one and it turns out I hate it and/or am horrible at it?
What the fuck
someone please help me
Canadafag FWIW & Uni isn't really an option

If you pick one and you don't want to do it as a career, you move onto the next one. I still haven't finalized my decision on a career but I've eliminated several of my interests by taking classes for them and finding out that while they're fine as a hobby, they'd absolutely blow as a career.

You don't have to take official college classes. Even just looking up job-related things/tutorials/classes online could serve as a basic filter for "wow this doesn't look like something I want to do for my whole life." Obviously not perfect, but it's better than taking an expensive class on anything that strikes your fancy.

Adding on to this, try to do some job shadowing if you can.
