My advice on how to quit is to start by hunting for your next job. Contact former coworkers from this or other jobs you've had. They can often give you the inside scoop on available positions and might even put in a good word for you. If you need to take calls during business hours, be discreet.

Keep your cards close to your vest. You want to stay on the best terms with your present employer so that you maximize the information you have at hand. This allows you to wait until the last possible moment before submitting your resignation. Bear in mind that giving notice is not simply a heads-up. It is, in that moment, your resignation. You can be relieved of your responsibilities and privileges that very moment. Don't hand over the letter unless you are ready to be immediately escorted from the premises.

The major problem you're facing is that if every other worker accepted it and you're the only one who didn't, a lot of people will see the situation as you being the unreasonable party, not your employer. It's going to make you look like you're halfway inbetween a luddite and a tinfoil hatter.

You could possibly try to argue that it wasn't a requirement of the contract you were hired on. However, there will be a clause in that contract that states something along the lines of "we can change any part of this at any time". You *might* get away with this if you are either exceptionally skilled at your job, the only person in the company who knows how to do your job, or married to the bosses daughter. However, it sounds as if you're just a worker drone, so the chances are they'll tell you they've nullified your old contract, and that if you don't like the terms of the new one then you're welcome to leave.

I personally think that I am rather skilled and they do need me. Than again I am aware that with some effort I can be replaced. My co-workers do know that I am kind of a tinfoil hatter already and they are fine with that. I'm not afraid to be called names but with my self-confidence nobody really does that.

RFID is cute, but it isn't secure. I can copy any RFID with my android phone, without you even knowing I did it. No, i'm not a criminal. I just like being treated like royalty at Casinos. It's not my fault their front door thinks I have a Platinum Players Card. Maybe they should check fingerprints of people instead of racial profiling RFIDs and giving preferential treatment to rich people.

If someone wanted them, they already have them by now. Let me guess, mommy told you you could be anything you want to be? SO, your fingerprints are valuable, because one day you are going to be emperor of the world. hate to break it to you, you aren't special OP. even if someone had your fingerprint profile, it isn't easy to replicate like RFID, credit cards and badges, etc.

Facial recognition is great for security. Just look at the camera. No lost badge to worry about, no germ covered fingerprint reader getting the whole building sick with the flu. just a smile and you're in.
