Hi /adv/

I'm currently running in a student election in my college. At the moment i have just nominated myself, and I need about 150 online signatures from people in my college. I have a good few friends etc but a lot of them are mutual to the other guys running so its hard to get the numbers. I know i can change lives for the better if I become president. I know i can beat these guys.
But, i need to get over the nomination hump before I can get my campaign underway. Is there a way to be ruthless in asking people for nominations?

See that was the plan, however it's all done online (only student at my college can vote) and they can only nominate once. So if they've nominated one of the other guys, they can't nominate me. Is individually messaging people weird?

Take over what? Nobody cares if you're elected as a "president" of students. Focus on your studies instead. You're there to learn, not to change the world from the grounds of your college campus.
