You cut it as it grows You condition and blowdry. Go to a salon not supercuts.

I've grown my hair past my shoulders before -- more than once, actually. I look terrible that way though, so I don't do it on purpose anymore. (I used to be kind of a metalhead.).

from what i have been told, you are meant to get it trimmed every so often and parted into a style. my brother has long hair. i honestly think you need to be incredibly handsome to pull off long hair. if someone is average looking or worse, long hair makes them look incredibly ugly.

My boyfriend's hair is at his lowerback. It's getting near his buttcrack now. But he's pacific islander, so he has good, thick hair genes.

He hasn't cut it in three years. For the most part, he no-poos. But he rinses his hair every other day and scrubs it out (just with water). He'll shampoo and condition about once a week.

He brushes it in the shower too. Or I brush it sometimes if it gets unruly. His hair is really beautiful. I personally love it.

use mane n tails horse shampoo to get it to grow longer/better faster so you wont be stuck in that awkward stage. also when it gets into your eeyes you can either put it behind your ear or pin it to the top of your head with a bobby pin
