Starbucks is just as bad as McDonalds, yeah. Why not look into retail? It can be pretty comfy as an entry level gig. I'd give an arm and a leg to go back to working part time retail at 19, some of the best times of my life.

Try something like Costco, heard it pays well. Retail may be fine too, but it may be just as tough. Why not a local restaurant? Doesn't have to be fast food or a chain (might have to have connections though).

It's why I feel better working there instead of a blatant fast food place. And that I can work with drinks instead of making a lot of food, which I find more enjoyable.

How about an office job? Some low wage jobs don't require much, you don't have to work with food. I did that and it's working out pretty well.

I felt this way for a REALLY long time. However, I ended up working there for just over 2 years and met some great people. Dated a qt girl there, met someone who ended up being one of my best friends, had fun bsing with managers, I got around 25 cent raises every 6 months as long as I wasn't late or fucked up, and they're flexible with schedules.

How old are you? Why not look into a bartending class?
