There is a new blood test you can do around 12 weeks that let's you know the gender. It's about $500 in my country and also checks for diwn syndrome etc. Could always abort a boy.

I have no problem with whatever anyone wants to do with their body, but I don't see why you can't just come up with a different word for your gender. I just can't pretend "no man she's actually a woman just like any other woman." It's clearly not the case. It's not even a matter of moral judgment for me, I really see nothing wrong with it, I just can't ignore or deny facts that are right in front of me.

A child is not a fashion accessory. It's a sacred duty. It's something that's much, much bigger than you, as it should be.

Preferring a gender is not bad. Refusing to have children because you ONLY want one gender is. That's no longer a mere preference

That's such a nice way to put it. You romanticize the parent-child relationship in the same way I do.

I wanted a daughter for the longest time because I like the idea of the father-daughter relationship. However, I sometimes look at the relationship I have with my dad and I really feel the parent-child bond we have. I often think of how heartfelt our moment will be when I get to tell him that I'm becoming a father too.

I'm going to be so fucking heart broken when he passes.
