After browsing some threads, had to bad insights:
First: a guy very likely wanted to tell me I was more than a friend, but I behaved autisticly. Like really.
Dumb: if he didn't like the autistic me, does it mean he didn't really like me?
The question: how do I not let this happen again?
I get totally paralyzed when I talk to the person I like alone.

We couldn't meet irl for 5 months after this incident, and we were both freshmen, so... I assumed, he'll just fuck hot chicks at some drunk party and it started to give me almost panic attacks.
