I've got all my ducks in a row relatively speaking. I've got a house of my own, a job that pays well, and the world at my fingertips.

The problem I'm having is I feel entirely disconnected from the people around me. I enjoy the company of good friends and family. I have nothing to bond with them over. I don't have any hobbies worth talking about nor do I have interest in things others take interest in. It's starting to wear me down being the odd man out and makes me feel entirely undatable.

What do you see as the best solution to this issue?

I know how you feel. I suggest you find a hobby that is preferably common with your social circle, something that would build up a stronger connection between you and your friends.
Also try to find something that doesnt require a lot of your time. Things like movies, literature, hiking etc. Not like an instrument or a team sport.

Yes. Do your best to find a good job. I can suggest you get a master's degree in diplomacy and apply to take the exams that you country requires (at least that is what i am doing).

Work on becoming fit, enhance any attractive features that you have.

Become more friendly, open and straight forward. That should get you more friends.
