Hey guys what jobs are available for a creative writing degree? The only thing I've found is copywriting but I never get called when I apply to those jobs. What fields should I look into? Advertising? PR?
Bamp.
Anyone have a degree in writing that they've made work.
...why didn't you get a more marketable degree alongside the CW MFA?
I mean, I'm an English major so I don't have much room to chastise you, but come on man. What'd you expect?
There is really no money to be made off the back of a creative writing degree, no matter how good you are.
It's time to man up and train in a profession that actually has job prospects attached to it. For highest levels of employability, your best bet is actually a manual skilled trade, such as carpentry.
>money
>creative writing degree
Pick one.
Seriously, the average novelist makes $2 an hour off of their writing. It's really not a good career path.
I've heard carpenters are really in demand
