Has anyone here ever been completely happy where they're living, with good friends and family, but moved to a different country for whatever reason?
Did you regret it?
Did you stay?
Did you meet new friends without issue?
What happened with your old ones?

No - if the culture is too different, it doesn't work out. Within Europe/North America should be OK

Not a promising start
I was thinking Canada or NZ to be honest

Those are both fine, culture-wise.
In fact, you may have a mild problem the opposite way: Canada and NZ generally put more value on being quiet, courteous, and considerate. You need to be careful you're not pissing people off without realising, by violating social norms you're not used to.

Where are you moving from? I live in NZ and I can try to answer any questions
