How do you live in major cities without being a college tryhard?
What does that even mean, obvious child?
By having a DDD job such as plumber.

>college tryhard
If you were a college tryhard, OP, what would that mean?
Why is "tryhard" an insult, anyway?
>>16641248
>>16641227
How are you this ignorant
A tryhard gets a 4.0 goes after a serious degree gets internships the whole time and spends their time making connections and getting references and resume filling shit
If you mean being not a normie, go full /r9k/ or go to thrift shops for your needs.

So tryhards are successful?
>>16641253
>How are you this ignorant
The term "tryhard" is not very well-defined yet: every use of the term is a personal thing. That's why we have to ask. You wonder how we can be so ignorant, but the reason is just that we aren't in your head.
>A tryhard gets a 4.0 goes after a serious degree gets internships the whole time and spends their time making connections and getting references and resume filling shit
I don't understand. Why is this a problem?
>>16641266
It's not a problem it's just I can't do it because I'm too depressed. I don't think it should be impossible to live on your own without doing all that shit.
>>16641271
So are you asking how to live in a city in minimum wage?
Get two or three roommates.
>>16641276
That's what I'm saying even with roommates its impossible
>>16641278
My brother has been living in NYC for years working as a bartender and doing odd jobs. He doesn't appear to be trying hard at all but he's less worthless than you.
>>16641288
He must be because that sounds impossible
>>16641291
You can clean up as a bartender if you put in work. But that's the thing: you gotta work.
Or he's dealing something I guess.
>>16641339
I can bartend and work I can actually mix drinks really good but it sounds impossible to live in a good city like nyc. From what I've seen/heard even in the most black ghetto with roommates it costs like 2000/mo for an apartment and a bartender can't make much more than 2k a month since that's like 24k a year.
>>16641346
$2,000 /mo split among 4 people, dude.
>>16641355
No 2,000 per person. A 4br in South Bronx or north Harlem is 7,000 not 2,000
