tldr; Should you delete pictures of your ex off facebook?

So I broke up with my ex about a year ago. We dated for around 6 years. So pretty much every picture I have for the last 6 years has had her in it or been an activity we've did together.

I haven't added a potential dating prospect on FB yet, but I was wondering if this would be a big deal to an average woman. It's going to look like I did nothing for the last 6 years or you'll see a bunch of pictures with my ex.

I don't pay attention to it or ever look back at them, but it just seems like a lot of work to go through and remove everything.

Nah it's fine. Just make sure your status says single.
>>
Do what makes you comfortable. I didn't want mine there so I removed them. I think I saved them before but when I reformatted I didn't back them up.
>>
I reckon it may send mixed signals but as long as your status is single then it should be fine.

As long as it's over, you have no contact, and your main photo is of just you, then it doesn't matter.
>>
Thanks guys, I really didn't want to be assed to delete all the pictures. My main profile pic is just me, status is single, and I'm not FB friends with my ex. Should be all good right?
>>
I suggest deleting them and unfriending your ex. In the long run its usually the best course of action.

Plus having intimate pictures of your ex still hanging around on your Facebook is pretty unclassy. It will make future prospects a little uneasy or at least make then feel bad.
>>
Don't hide your past unless your purpose is to never reveal it.
>>
In your place, I'd just set the album to private. Deal with it later if it comes up.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
