My suspicion would be that she met this guy, figured out she could date him, broke up with you, and started dating him.

If she had been cheating, she would have not made it obvious by immediately broadcasting that she has a new guy.

So my current ex is dating already but im sure she had it all pre meditated when she fucked him the day she broke up with me lol wow right nope wrong it was my mistake for taking her back when she cheated the first time but now the best revenge I'm going to get is how that dude is always going to be thinking how she's going to lie and fuck him over because she's going to be always looking after herself. p.s. we broke up 10 days after our 4th anniversary, that alone should tell you enough about the caliber of a girl I was working with.

I've bounced this theory off a couple of friends (male and female) and my girlfriend, and apparently it seems sound.

It has to do with the fundamentally different way guys and girls deal with things regarding emotion.

Guys tend to avoid emotional situations and work around them. We either try to find a logical solution, or we ignore it until we're forced to deal with it. We always try to minimize our exposure to the emotions that it can bring about and get it over with as fast as possible; a rip the bandaid off fast approach. And when that moment happens, all this shit is all brand new and unfamiliar to us, so we get overwhelmed and slammed by it.

Where as girls tend to deal with these things head on, slowly over time. They directly face the issue, talk about it, cry about it, stress about it, and slowly break it down over time, bit by bit. By the time the moment explodes, a lot of it's already been dealt with, and they're already partially used to dealing with it.

That's sometimes why when a guy breaks up, it can come as a total shock, and he can go nuts. Because he's been sticking his head in the sand, ignoring the signs, and all of a sudden feels blinded sided by it all.

And it's also sometimes why when a girl breaks up, it's something they've ALREADY pre-emptively been dealing with for weeks or months. By the time it happens, they can just move on in a moment, because they've already spent weeks trying to come to terms with the fact that they feel like it's over.

I'm not at all saying that's true for every girl and every guy, but that's just sometimes how it plays out.
