Can't give an answer on that but if its anything like Tasmania, you would be looking at between 250-350 on average. You then have to factor in other things such as services in the area travel time to place of employment etc.

Yeah well i earn a bit over 600 a week and i could live on my own, It would require alot of sacrifice and budgeting but it is doable. Saying that though i am currently trying to improve my skill set so that i can get a better paying job

You could probably survive on minimum full time wages in Brisbane IF you lived in a shared student complex.

I know a retiree who does just that,except he's on the pension.
