With regards to your problem, it's not really important to convince your friends that he's the greatest except to resolve your own insecurities by getting validation.. Like this anon >>16441491 said, just tell them what you told us. Whether they're convinced is their problem.

But if it's still bothering you...
If someone were to ask me why I'm with my girlfriend, I'd tell them straight up it's because being with her makes me happy. That's all they need to know.
If I wanted to go into more detail I'd say it's because she's really beautiful, and she laughs at my stupid jokes, and she's always there for me when I need someone to talk to. Maybe if you talk about how he makes you feel rather than what he is your friends would be more readily convinced.
