I think the Modifyers flash pretty much established that Zone can animate whatever the fuck he wants and people will still enjoy it.

All you'd have to do is the bouncy ball tutorial to learn that anticipation and mass are vastly important properties that make animations look good universally.

Not to mention, a lot of SFM animators don't even know about pose to pose animation, so their animations look stiff, or meandering.

Animating pose to pose is just objectively better for an action like - say - sex, because you want to portray the action with power an emotion because that makes it more arousing.

This isn't like somebody saying you can only draw realistically.

This is like somebody saying:
>"If you want to draw something that represents a human standing in an environment, you should have passing knowledge of perspective and how to draw objects that look properly three dimensional."

Because if you didn't, the outcome would look "off".

I would say that no SFM animator is an artist. There are some who occasionally produce good stuff, but it seems to be almost by accident.

Having said that though, I think that SFM is far more fappable than any other CGI. I believe that the reason for this is that SFM avoids uncanny valley and that SFM models are mostly ripped from the work of true artists. That also explains why the genitalia are shit: they were produced by porn hobbyists, not the artists who made the video game.
