The story background is that the Quarian trap is part of a group of Quarians on pilgrimage together to better their chances. They run into money trouble and are having issues getting funds for the docking costs.

Lo and behold a middle age Human ship captain overhears them and offers assistance to the group. He and the group leaders talk it over and they strike a deal. The trap is the groups money manager/stock guy so he and the human talk the details out together later.

This goes on for a week or two as they work for the human. The catain has been dropping subtle hints, leers, and the occaisional feel here and there to the trap. Obviously the trap is rather ebarassed by all this, but the group needs this money to continue their pilgrimage.

Ultimately the Human tells the trap that he could get the group the money sooner, but with a price: A night with the trap. The trap is stunned by this and is silent for a few moments as his brain goes into overdrive.

On one hand he could get the money sooner so they could get on their way. On the other, spending a night or two with their employer. He has always been self-concious about his appearance since he reached puberty and has been endlessly mocked and embarassed his whole life.

One way or another the trap agrees to the proposal and the sex scene starts soon after.
