Topic:
Both artists and commissioners, how do you prefer to communicate? Emails or something quicker, like tumblr or skype messaging?
Anchor post for prices, sales, etc
Need to make 12 bucks by Monday.
Awww yeah, gotta love that new-thread smell.
>>878050
And an obligatory shill (because I actually really like how this one came out).
>>877958
So what exactly is that discord chat thing?
Shilling time
And, when it comes to communication, i like to get as much as possible. So, i dont mind 100 emails or messages over Skype. Ad long as the client knows that they want, we will work just fine.
Oh, and here is a commission i recently did.
>>878058
Discord is a relatively new chat program people are using instead of Skype nowadays because it's much lighter, has more functionalities and can even run in browser
That one is a link to an /aco/ chatroom, it's kinda empty right now but I think it would be nice to chat with other commissioners and artists
>>878055
How much was that? I assume it wasn't a sketch
>>878080
That client and I have a rather funky arrangement going on (lots of character design and such for a story we brainstormed together, that sort of thing), but I'd pin something like that as about 35 bucks! I do love me some style variation.
>>878055
hot damn.
>>878050
What are your views on ShotaxGoblin?
OP, you may want to post the Google doc too for people who don't feel like filling out the whole sheet, and in case docfag has made more changes to it. Unless you are docfag in which case carry on.
I'm the guy from last thread who was stuck with this artist since May
I finally got a sketch, maybe I'll get the finished version this year
Since the sketch is really sketchy, it's one of my OCs taking a selfie while the other opens her trenchcoat in public
>>878259
I fucked up, then. I thought you are whoever made the doc were the same person and the sheet was an upgraded version, my bad
>>878139
Oh, cool. I might hit you up once October comes around if this idea I have lined up doesn't work out with an artist I'm talking with
>>878239
I love both of those things! Never tried combining them, but I feel as though it'd be an interesting pairing. Ripe opportunity for "picking on someone your own size" puns, too.
I'd love to draw some really weird shit. Hit me up.
>>878269
Good to hear, I just lack designs for the characters
>>878268
Nah, though I did make it from the sheet and info ITT.
>>878286
Oi, fill out your entry in the spreadsheet's Content tab. So far I just have "Bizarre/humorous things okay" in the comment box and inquiring minds want to know if their potions are too strong for you.
>>878753
Sorry! Should be all better now.
>>878952
thank mr ALD
>>877958
Really a new thread? I feel like the old one should've lasted at least one more day.
>>877962
well, might as well put it out there.
>>877962
Time for non-stop infinite shilling. I'm also having a sale on commissions for the next two weeks, 25% off all prices for the next two weeks.
>>878055
Got this as an awesome part of a sequence from this artist - honestly, one of the best I've worked with in ages, would highly recommend
Preliminary sketch of some demon dicking I'm getting from http://www.hentai-foundry.com/user/Wetwetart/profile
Looking for quality artist recommendations who can handle short chunky girls and 'bara' male figures, any price range really.
>>880172
Also something sfw my buddy http://kottkrig.tumblr.com/ did.
Hi! I've recently opened up my commissions and im posting an example as well.
My rates are $25 per character in an image... unless things get super complicated or crazy, we can talk.
You can see more art i've done at my new tumblr:
https://www.tumblr.com/blog/suraferu
If you'd like to commission me, my email is: [email protected]
Pretty much anything goes (anon requested smoking fetish of a crush as seen above )
However, i will not do:
-Yaoi
-Futa
-Furry
-Gore
-Shota/Loli/Toddler (keep it 18+ please)
-Scat
----
Don't be shy!
>>880086
Hot damn, I need to make sure I get in on this.
>>880198
I told you yesterday in the last thread that https://www.tumblr.com/blog/suraferu only brings you to a login page. Use http://sarferu.tumblr.com/
Also, I emailed you yesterday and you haven't answered.
>>880253
Whoops! Fixed my pricing and edited for yesterdays questions but forgot the link fix. I'll do that next time. Sorry! Still new to this site and tumblr. I used to be on deviantart so im not used to this.
Someone needs to commission me for a Mystery Girl/Pearl comic
because I wanna do it but can't waste time on leisure art
I could use somebody willing to go into wow work. namely a she-orc and a pair of shemales. I've been using rainbowflyer almost exclusively but for wow i'm willing to meet a higher price for the hike in quality
>>880407
i'd give http://www.hentai-foundry.com/user/ZionAlexiel/profile a look at, i comm'd this from him and i think looks great for a awesome price
>>880407
The last WoW thing I did looked like this if that interests you.
>>880411
Awesome, will do. Thanks anon
on an unrelated note does anybody know what the deal with this sort of porn is? do artists exist who work in this..I wanna say almost SFM medium?
>>880416
related note, he's russian (i believe) so his english is a tad broken
>>880362
That's okay. Did you get the email?
Here's my sheet. Sorry if it looks squished, I can't figure out why it does that.
>>880526
>I can't figure out why it does that.
Probably shouldn't admit that.
>>880086
So for the "Color Commissions" option, would you be able to commission full bodies of characters for $40? Your example looks to be 3 heads and a generic male.
>>880721
Yeah, thats what that means.
>>880526
Your stuff seems way too vanilla. Do you do futa or different body types (chubby, muscular, etc)?
Special sale until the end of September!
$10 - 1 character
$15 - 2 characters

>>881035
Yeah, I'll do any body type you like as long as its not ridiculously proportioned. Futa is fine as well. It is a bit vanilla, I'll admit. But its only because I want to draw stuff that I can get off to myself.
>>880640
This only seems to happen with this specific image. Anything else I post turns out fine. Here's something I did in the drawthread that went over very well.
>>881870
Hoping to get something off of you myself, we talked about a Zone-tan commission a bit.
>>881905
Sure thing! Sent you an email
Going to post this here since I'm just finishing up my most recent commission as I write this.

Finished another adoptable commission~

Anybody have any experience with wrestling poses? Looking to commission a piece but I'd like to some examples first since it's a more niche field.
Question to you artists.
Is it okay to return and ask for more of the same characters getting sexed up?
I know it isnt lewd and its also loli but its SFW and willing to pay money. Can i get a loli Trump? reference is hair on the left and clothes on the right. Thanks!
>>882110
kek, from the thumbnail the dick look like a set of balls and the upper body look like a big dick xD
>>882364
I have a couple of returning clients that ask for the same character and i have no problem with it. Honestly, doing the character more then once helps since you get the know the character more intimately.
>>882349
I have personally not done such a commission but it sounds like it could be fun.
That reminds me, for artists that have not done such a thing, here is a cool DA page that i find very useful for references and they have plenty of stuff of girls wrestling C:
http://sleeperkid.deviantart.com/
>>882026
Fucking pull the trigger piglet
I wanna draw Pearl getting railed by that beautiful punk
>>882110
>adoptables
How much was each one?
I saw you were planning on doing a cow next time, I was looking into a horse/bull/cow girl for my scenario, if you get any toned brown ones I might snag one
Artists - is it weird to you when a commissioner wants pin ups or sex poses of characters doing things that are out of character? Or when they request Real people? Im the guy who requested that smoking blowjob pic way up top that the artist linked me to this thread by and im curious.
>>877962
I updated my sheet with some more recent images
if anyone is interested let me know
>>882396
Do you have a commission sheet?
>>882536
you mean doing out right gay stuff for non gay characters? Na, does not bother me at all.
Have done some "out of character" art before and as i said, does not bother me at all.
>>882364
Totally, it's nice getting comms like this because you know how to draw the character easier next time around.
>>882387
Hah, it really does! That's hilarious.
>>882502
They were $25 each, and yep! The cowgirls are in process right now, I was considering doing milk flavors so there will definitely be a brown toned one, but if you have one you'd like me to make special (cow, horse, bull ect) for you just shoot me an email at neighborsatemyzombie@gmail and we can work it out!
>>882536
Out of character is okay, real people is kind of iffy just because if the person ever finds it and doesn't like it then you as an artist are caught in the crossfire imo
Most recent commission finished, I'm not sure if Rouge is okay in here so I guess I'll delete it if it's a prob.
Any horror stories?
I've got one.
>>883284
Yeah. I follow a guy who posts big tits and jessica rabbit stuff on tumblr. Hows this?
>>883284
Like, about a client or a job? Or something else?
>>882750
I'll probably have to wait until the adoptables, you are a bit out of my price range (you are not expensive, I'm just broke/living in a third world country). Just followed you, gonna see how they end up, thanks anyway
>>882536
Isn't every piece of porn out of character unless it's explicitly stated that those characters fucked?
>>883484
I mean like characters smoking when they dont, being submissive when they kick ass, suddenly liking someone they canonically dont, etc.
Like if sonic went out and picked up rouge, who was a hooker - would that be off putting for work?
>>883621
If you are going to have problems with shit like that you will never find work.
>Sorry, I can't draw these two characters like this because they would never act that way.
The essence of this business is catering to somebody's fantasy. If someone just wanted to watch sonic run fast they would stick with the source material. If they want to see sonic deep throat a chili dog man, that's where the money is.
Just redid my shill pic.
>>877962
>>880407
i like orc lasses and muscle and shemales, feel free to hit me up mate.
>>882349
I did a few and they should be up on the tumbles, and I also did a crabwalk(?) blowjob. What poses were you looking for mate?
>>882364
Yup, I have had a few customers commission pics of specific characters multiple times. I don't have any issues with it.
>>882536
Nah, granted I like to try to do things that stay in character but I'm not bothered by ooc stuff and sometimes it can be fun.
Sidenote for commission stuff:
wont do poop piss or diaper stuff
will do: almost everything else.
also rough sketches are 10$ I forgot to add that to the sheet

Wow, the spreadsheet is an utter and complete mess made of pure inefficiency and ineffectiveness along with being entire unaesthetic. If it's going to be this awful, may as well have kept the google doc instead. You're doing it all wrong.
Slime are okay, right? Here's a recent commish.
>>885805
commission from earlier today- a nice lil' powergirl with some odd choices in apparel! also, side note: getting to try out a new style for a comm is fun as balls

This is going to be a fun one to color, lots of latex
>>885800
I agree. not to mention it doesn't even have contact info on it...
>>878286

>>885800
I told them to keep the Google Doc in the OP, and they didn't listen. It wasn't intended to be a drop-in replacement for the Google Doc, and I said that last thread. In so many words, I believe. Twice. Also in this thread somewhere before your comment.
>inefficient/ineffective
>no suggestions offered to improve
>apparently no understanding of the non-standard non-central way in which comms are done
...
No, really. If you have a better idea that's actually better and not a mess or doesn't work at all for all artists, name it here.
>unaesthetic
>grid for finding info which is not a commsheet
fuck off desu m8
>>886087
Yeah check the tab named "Contact" and so on for the Contact info. Fucking miracles, man.
>>886347
>toggle for artists open/closed/etc
Same tab. It includes words like "Etc" so you know it has more stuff.
>b-but I didn't know!
So you should have read the Splash tab, which would be the first tab if people didn't keep on dragging Content to the front slot for no good reason. I told them to download a copy if they wanted to mess around with it too...in the Splash tab, which is the first opening tab unless some chucklefuck has disregarded what it says and dragged the Content tab before it. It also says to do filtering offline or at least be very careful not to leave filters on when done, yet last time I loaded it I found Content still filtered to something.
>b-but tl;dr!
It's quite short. It even has headings so you know which parts to read.
>b-but a good spreadsheet wouldn't have tabs what are tabs no one looks at tabs
You should not use this tool to find or list what you want, it is not for you. Hopefully the gdoc will make its return in the next OP.
>>887633
I could clean up the price pages some, and by that I mostly mean artists could clean up/add their entries in the pricing pages because I preserved most of the vagueness from their sheets. Of course, not all pricing schemes are covered well by the columns I made, so as it says in Splash an explanation or a link to a comms sheet in the comment section of pricing pages is fine even if they've already put their link in the Contact_Payment_Etc page.
Last note, someone's name got overwritten by "y" in Content and I have no good way of knowing whose, so anyone who cares should check the Content page to see if it's them or they don't have an entry yet.
Also anons with ideas for Content not yet listed and that's not completely autistically specific can suggest more columns to add, if you're curious if any artists will do it.
>>885828
So whats your price ranges?
Do's and don'ts?
Any other art you have done?
>>877958

>Overall, no, it's not aesthetic because it's a fucking spreadsheet. You make a better one or fuck off. It's detailed and straight-forward.
That's true, but it could look better. Here are two spreadsheets I've made, though not the /aco/ one. Could both of them be better? Certainly so.

I have a lot of ideas, but I have so many whims to attend to. I'll provide some in the next post.
>people being idiots
That's what happens when you have it publicly editable by anyone. What you should do is provide a published version, like I've provided with my above and then let anyone else who wants to edit, use the editable version. Others can still download or make a copy if needed. Or, just make people ask to have editing permission.
>It also says to do filtering offline or at least be very careful not to leave filters on when done
Temporary filters are possible, but people generally either don't want to use them or don't want to learn how to do so.
>Hopefully the gdoc will make its return in the next OP.
If it isn't in the OP, someone can post it as a reply to the OP, like this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18JG-7pSJNx8XE5qwAay8I_iJUsfpOFSY8NJcj4_8pDA/edit

The splash and update page should probably in a linked google doc instead of on the spreadsheet itself. At least get rid of the lines. I prefer 12 size font to 10. 10 is too small to me. Only provide the essential information on the spreadsheet.
Content:
Look at how many Ys there are.
I think it would be better if it simply listed what people absolutely won't do. It doesn't hurt to ask otherwise. It's simply too much. People generally want the money after all. People who don't fill it out entirely are at disadvantage, which may be design, but that's a terrible design.
Comic_Pricing:
Why are you even using underscores for the names?
Again, too much information. The specifics of what the person wants done will probably have to be negotiated anyway.
Sketch_Pricing:
The sheet takes a lot time to load for me, for whatever reason. This tab keeps trying to crash the browser.
Why does it go over to AMJ in columns? Most of these columns should be deleted. If it's going to have to be publicly editable, someone, most likely the owner will have to do deal with the vandalism, if only because no one else will do so.
Anim_Pricing:
Why not animation?
Lineart_Pricing:
Same as previous.
Contact_Payment_Etc
Way too many columns.
What a mess in general.
I don't know what's going on with the top rows. Why are they included in the free and why are they are above the header row?
Other comments:
The yellow highlight is atrocious.
These sheets don't need to go down to 1,000.
Adding some color like in mine goes a long way.
>>889304
*included in the freeze
>>889304
or list what they'd really prefer to do, but again, depending on supply and demand, that may hurt them as well.
I wanna buy a new Lolita dress, so I'm posting this here.
I'm available to do sketch commissions all day, so if you buy one you'll likely have it In a few hours.
Gonna go hang around the drawthreads now, examples of my stuff can be seen on the /d/ booru or on my tumblr (lusty-bumble.tumblr.com)
>>877962
I'll probably update my sheet again soon with better art and better layout and all that. Currently desperate to buy something next month from Bad Dragon [they do birthstone colors each month and I absolutely love opal]
>>889407
Only taking sketches for now?
Thread should really be more about comms, but I guess this is tangentially related at least.
>>889291
To be honest with you, those look like my spreadsheet but with no highlights, a little header formatting, and I want to zoom out. I also notice that your tabs contain full data on things which easily fit into a screen. I will never have that few columns or that little data.
The published version is a good idea, I might do that. Doesn't mean next OP won't just copy/paste this OP and leave out the gdoc and also the new link.
>>889292
Good stuff, will do.
>>889304
>The splash and update page should probably in a linked google doc instead of on the spreadsheet itself.
Why, so even less people can read it and more can come into the thread and complain about it? I mean, there was someone who didn't realize there were tabs. That's going in the "won't do" pile.
>At least get rid of the lines.
Fine. Just for you, I will get rid of the gridlines around that little bit of text.
>I prefer 12 size font to 10. 10 is too small to me.
If only you could download the doc, format it to your preferences, and delete it once you find what you want. Or zoom. I kept it at 10 for a reason, and that reason is to fit more on the page. I understand that's cramped to some but I made this with filtering and scanning through in mind.
>Only provide the essential information on the spreadsheet.
Oh boy here we go...
>>889304
>Content
>Look at how many Ys there are.
>I think it would be better if it simply listed what people absolutely won't do.
No. This is absolutely wrong. This is where you completely fail to understand the purpose of the spreadsheet. The point being to eventually be able to filter to see "who's willing to do this combination of my autistically specific fetishes?"
>It doesn't hurt to ask otherwise.
Asking in the thread nets one or two responses either way, depending on who's reading at the exact moment, because artists don't read up unless they're linked, because it's generally not relevant. So the real alternative to a bunch of "Y"s is the requester spamming the emails of every single person whose art and prices they like okay asking. Or they could just check out the spreadsheet once it's a little more filled out, the only cost being the spreadsheet doesn't look as aesthetic as you want it to. We're talking exponential time savings.
>It's simply too much.
No, it's not. It's a spreadsheet, not a chart you hang on your wall.
>People generally want the money after all.
Yes, and that's what "Y" stands for. I am willing to do this. M$ stands for I am willing to do this for extra money, and so on. They can specify it's something they enjoy by using Y+, as noted in the key. Yes, you have to scroll across to see the entire key in the header. Saves screen real estate while keeping the key persistent so you don't need to scroll up or tab out to find it. Talk to the artists ITT, you'll find that they tend to draw for money rather than love (or they'd be in the drawfag threads exclusively) and don't necessarily enjoy all of the autistic fetishes they cater to.
>>890014
No I'll take whatever, but my sketches are on sale right now!
Shoot me an email if you wanna discuss~
>People who don't fill it out entirely are at disadvantage, which may be design, but that's a terrible design.
Same for the gdoc. Same for coming back and posting your comm sheet/links to your work/finished comms in these threads. That's not a spreadsheet problem, it's an information availability problem. How can I fix it? By letting people get better, more relevant requests they're willing to do. If they're willing to fill it out more, and they only have to do it once, they can get that provided people use the spreadsheet. So yes, it rewards participation, like this thread and everything else related. You cannot win if you do not play, well spotted. It's not a terrible design or any design, it is how the internet and publication in general works. Stop being ridiculous.
>Why are you even using underscores for the names?
For real? This is a serious question?
Because I wanted to.
>Again, too much information.
As I carefully explained last thread, the sheet is a compromise between accuracy and detail in portraying artist comm info and making something usefully searchable for anons. Compromise is messy and inefficient and still better than making something that provides so little useful information it's not worth reading through or filtering.
>The specifics of what the person wants done will probably have to be negotiated anyway.
No shit. Hey maybe you should actually read that Splash page. It's only a few lines, really, you can do it. I believe in you. Then maybe you can give more relevant suggestions.
>The sheet takes a lot time to load for me, for whatever reason. This tab keeps trying to crash the browser.
The whole doc does. All large GDocs do in non-Google browsers. If you're using a Google-based browser, I can only say "WOMM".
>Why does it go over to AMJ in columns? Most of these columns should be deleted. If it's going to have to be publicly editable, someone, most likely the owner will have to do deal with the vandalism, if only because no one else will do so.
You noticed that but you somehow failed to notice that the problem was a line being duplicated a bunch of times because someone's hand slipped? I mean, it was a line in the first few rows, too. That's a recent addition, as in last few days, but you know who could have fixed it? The user, the person who noticed, you. Because it's editable. Naturally though, you were too bust quibbling about fucking underscores.
>Why not animation?
And quibbling about shit like this. Why not? So that it's closer to fitting all of the tabs on one screen at default layout on a 1366x768 low-standard laptop display. I even mentioned that either last thread or in the splash, too. If you're asking why add "pricing" in the name, that's for absolute clarity. It is a pricing sheet and that is what you are getting when you open it.
>Way too many columns
>What a mess in general
I'm so very sorry that I provided information about artists in the artist information tab and it triggered you having to scroll over.
>I don't know what's going on with the top rows. Why are they included in the free and why are they are above the header row?
Gee, I don't know, perhaps if you read what's inside of them you might garner some useful information and then understand why they are there. But I know you're not big on looking at information inside of spreadsheets.
>The yellow highlight is atrocious
No, it's standard and attention-grabbing. Clearly not enough because you don't seem to have read, for instance, the key. If only I could make highlights show up in flashing seizure-strobe for you and you alone so you'd actually read.
>go down to 1000
Default import setting, I imagine. Does this really matter?
>Adding color in
I'll leave the artistic touch to the commissioners.

You're really defensive about something you don't want to take responsibility for. You ought to consider adjusting your perception of persecution, self-sacrifice, and expecting everyone to agree that your sheet is the best and everyone ought to use it, because if they don't, they're fail and that's their problem.
For the sake of not having to stare at the spreadsheet again (no offense it's just a LOT to fill out and look at for both the commissioner and artist) what would you guys say to either having a tumblr blog started strictly for /aco/ artists to submit their commission sheets/info or a sheet like the one in the image where we could just check off what we will/won't do? It'd be a lot easier to view and fill out for both parties.
>>890235
Or maybe you should just stop read the thing before giving me bad suggestions or complaining about the aesthetics of something made for function, rather than making trite appeals to overplayed pop-psychology memes.

Something like that would be amazing. It wouldn't really replace the purpose of the spreadsheet (searchability and filtering), but it would be awesome if it were posted in threads or on a tumblr for people to see. Also, I could then use those to update the spreadsheet. Win/win.
>>890099
>Why, so even less people can read it and more can come into the thread and complain about it?
Why pander to idiots?
>I made this with filtering and scanning through in mind.
That assumes people will save it or use temporary filters or otherwise not be idiots. That won't be the case.
>If only you could download the doc, format it to your preferences, and delete it once you find what you want.
In other words, "I know it's terrible and I'm forcing you to download it to make it better yourself."
That won't happen.
>We're talking exponential time savings.
Unlikely. The average person probably can't bother to look at it, since it's simply too much poorly done.
> requester spamming the emails of every single person whose art and prices they like okay asking
So they ought to only contact a single person?
>information availability problem
No, it isn't. Too much information can be almost as bad. More isn't always better.
>o that it's closer to fitting all of the tabs on one screen at default layout on a 1366x768 low-standard laptop display
Why does that even matter considering how many columns there are?
>No, it's standard and attention-grabbing.
In other words, "I can't be bothered to do better."
You want something to exist, and you think you're the person to do it, but you don't want to put in the effort, but want all the rewards, and hope others will do it mostly for you.
>>890240
Sometimes people get carried away with making these.
Example: http://desuarchive.org/d/thread/6992303/#6992303
That would be more in line with what Sheetfag wants with their preference for a " combination of my autistically specific fetishes"
>>890252
>Why pander to idiots?
>Why assume people won't be idiots?
Choose only one.
>That won't be the case.
So thus I should not have it set up for filtering and remove the entire point of the spreadsheet which you still seem to be missing?
>That won't happen.
I'm not asking you for anything. I've already said it's clearly not for you and I'm uninterested in your autism about how pretty it is.
>The average person probably
"Everyone knows"
>poorly done
By your standards as someone who missed the entire point of it, which really isn't that convincing.
>More isn't always better.
But this is really not that much, and you're meant to filter. You said not to pander to idiots, so I'm including you in that from now on. I will not pander to you, cry more, go get your debilitating ADD treated.
>hurr why do tabs matter when you have to scroll for datas?!?!?!!?!?
I want you to think about this one really hard and answer it for yourself.
>better
Less attention-grabbing is not better, and your autism does not impact this. The only thing wrong with a yellow highlight is that it triggers you, and that is a problem within your own mind.
>you think you're the person to do it
What was the last thread the first one EVER on /aco/? You had ample time to do it if you wanted to exist, and you didn't. I'm not running a Google Spreadsheet building business, I just made a spreadsheet and you're acting like I ran over your fucking dog because I didn't format it the way you wanted, despite you not understanding the body of data or the purpose it was made for...or, rather, insisting that it should have been made for your purposes. So let me reflect that back onto you: If you want a spreadsheet made for your inconsistent, autistic purposes, do it yourself. Hell, run a goddamn campaign for your spreadsheet over mine, just stop indignantly insisting I undermine the usefulness of the sheet to make it nice and brief. It's not an outline.
>>890245
>>890240
A database would solve a lot of your problems.
Having someone make a database for a website and having it stay updated would be great. It could have all the information anyone could possibly want and then some, while still being accessible and easy for all involved.
That requires a lot more effort, competence, dedication, and overall difficulty though.
That way the user could tell it what you want exactly and it'd provide the artist that's willing to do what you want, at the prices you want. Art quality is a different matter, and trying to objective measure that would cause all sorts of drama.
>>890252
>>890257
Another thing, fuck off with your "you're forcing people to fill all this out omg you want them to do it for you".
I filled it out given the information I had, and I suggested to like one person who was clarifying about their fetishes "hey you should fill this line out".
It is not my doing that OP replaced the google doc with the spread and threw your entire world off balance. In fact, and I'll say it yet again, one more time, I said that it was not a replacement for the doc.
So, really, anon was right before. Make your own or fuck off, you have nothing useful to suggest and can only keep on playing dumb and insisting there should never be a spreadsheet that actually tells you things.
>>890274
I thought about making a db from the start, but decided I don't want to manage that, a frontend, and hosting.
Especially when faggots will just complain about "omg why does it have this tag I don't think is important".
Beep boop blog has been made, for right now we're just taking commission sheets and will go from there, so if you have a sheet you want to submit get on ittt:

Probably be simpler just to have an image gallery to see everything at once.
Just rediscovered Shezow and wow, want some more of that. Maybe them being forced to transform into their trap alter ego against their will or something.
In the show, Dudepow (the reverse trap version) actually gets a masculine chest so maybe Shezow could get wide hips in a transformation sequence.
Any suggestions for pictures to commission or which artists?
>>890269
>If you want a spreadsheet made for your inconsistent, autistic purposes, do it yourself.
Ok. Here are some changes I made.
Still needs a ton of work though.
The key for the content tag can be found by hovering over the Artist cell, but only in the edit view. Notes aren't shown in the published view. Filters were removed because they shouldn't be using them in the edit view anyway. They need to download for that.
Other rough adjustments were made.

That drawing was $20 (although i tossed a discount in there since I think the fact that my sketches are colored caused a bit of panic, rip) aaaand I have no qualms with anything in particular. I've drawn some pretty freaky shit- this is probably the most vanilla stuff I've done in ages, which is actually a little refreshing!
Hey guys, I know an artist called .less
He does some pretty good stuff, lewd wise and regular wise, and he's usually my top pick on getting stuff drawn.
Heres some of his work if you're interested

and he's got a deviant art and all that, but if you want a guaranteed drawing you gotta reserve a spot on his patreon I think

Alright, shillin' out for someone who I know is gonna' start gettin' mad amounts of commissions soon so ya'll better hurry up while you can.

If you like Hyper and Shota then get the fuck in there while it's cheap and good.
>>892669
Sharing NSFW images from InkBunny isn't a good idea, anon, you need an account to watch it. It's free and everything, I know, but it's still something a lot of people won't want to do just on the off-chance they like an artist's commission style + prices, less so in a furry site.
>>892738
His sketches (or sketch I must say) isn't bad but there isn't much to go by, his tumblr isn't linked and it doesn't have much content either

Hi, I'm looking for clients!
looking for something specific? I'll draw most any fetish.
base price for halfbody full color (pic related) is 15 USD
lineart is 10 USD and sketches are 5!
I do furry, ganguro, tf, and nearly anything you can imagine.
try to steer away from overly complicated designs and we're good.
contact me over at [email protected] and we can discuss details!

>Message them on Tumblr
>Days go by, no response as I patiently wait
>Check back
>They've made new posts, answering other people's asks, even took someone's random doodle request
>Get the hint I'm intentionally being ignored
This has been happening quite a bit and it sucks. Is it a thing now for artists to completely not speak to people wanting a commission?
>>894143
Tumblr messaging is awful and notorious for asks and messages disappearing in to the void. I would try another method of contacting them or resend your ask.
>>894143
It could also be that tumblrs messaging system is complete shit, I've had a few people say they tried messaging me via PM and I've never seen it, so best to just email them if possible.
We are setting up a collab commission on Discord about a threesome in a Halloween party.

okay so I'm possibly in the market to get a commission or two, anyone know any artists who are dirt cheap and at least somewhat decent and/or fast(got a couple possible candidates in mind already, but wouldn't mind more suggestions)
>>894948
>anyone know any artists who are dirt cheap and at least somewhat decent and/or fast
It's your first time doing this, isn't it?
You pick two
>fast
>good
>cheap
Also, it's easier to get recommendations based on what style you are looking for. Doesn't matter if you find a cheap artist to draw your huge muscular futa orc OC when the artist only draws Undertale shota porn
>>894952
fast and cheap are the most important I'll admit(and I have done commissions before actually, although this will be my first porn related one), as I have relatively low standards compared to many on 4chan(for example one of the candidates I mentioned in the last post is DXOZ, who is considered crap by many here, although I personally like much of his stuff, well that and he's absurdly cheap, like 5 bucks for a colored pic with no set limit on characters or charging extra for them, good chance I'll go with him anyways, but I'd like to weigh all my options, especially since he does have some restrictions)
as for style, overall I definitely prefer more stylized/cartoonish ones over realistic ones, and while exactly what I'd want drawn is variable(as I often tweak ideas based on the artist), many of them involve hyper and/or muscle stuff
>>894952
>>Also, it's easier to get recommendations based on what style you are looking for.
I'm looking for some on-model-ish American Dad stuff. Any suggestions?

It happens Paypal doesnt works on my country, so normal comissions are imposible for rigth now. But patreon does work with my e-card and paypal, any of you know of someone that had made a normal comission system using patreon as a paying system, IĀ“m no interested of making a patreon wall or living out of it just quick extra money from comissions.
>>891578
stylization is sexier
>>895921
Well shit, what kind of country are you in?
As with pateron, you might get it to work. Rather than charge at the end of the month, you can charge as soon as someone backs you. So yeah, it might work as a commission payment this way.
>>895967
one with really shitty banks, I will seee If I can make the patreon comissions to work by the nexts weeks or so.
>>895977
Goddamn that sucks
I'm from Venezuela and I had to go through a lot of shit to finally be able to use paypal because of all the shitty controls we have with foreign currencies over here.
I hope you can find a payment method that suits your clients or a workaround to keep using paypal somehow
>>895921
You should into Bitcoin.
>>896314
I heard of it, what are the pros and cons and how the fuck it works?
>>896318
Pros - Secure-ish, encrypted, easier and more available/in use than five years. Anons can actually be anons. I don't think you have to download the blockchain anymore, and regardless you can have an online wallet if you trust an online wallet service (which you shouldn't, but it is convenient)
Cons - Unless you want to buy VPN or web hosting or trade for gift cards or something, you have to convert it back to Paypal or sell it somehow to use it. Since you can't use Paypal, it's a little bit trapped as internets money. I'd suggest finding a Bitcoin trader nearby and selling to them while seeing them in person, but you do live in Colombia so I don't know how safe that'd be. But if you want a VPN or hosting it's handy. Also it fluctuates a lot compared to real currencies. Also obviously less people use it than real money. If you buy stuff from Amazon or similar, you can get gift codes from various marketplaces with it. Just be prepared to get jewed by an online wallet taking some off, any website you touch taking some off, the person you're trading with having an offer set up where you have to overpay 20% or something...etc. So you may want to overcharge in bitcoin to compensate. It's a pain in the ass honestly, but may attract buyers who care about their anonymity. Otherwise, maybe Google Wallet to replace Paypal? Idk much about it but it exists.
>>896346
seems like the same problem I have with paypal, since i can get money but I cant take it out of paypal to my bank account and also with the overpayment thing sounds like a even lower option than paypal to me.
also thanks for the info im saving this just in case.

I don't have a proper commission sheet, but I have opened up commissions until the end of November. I will only be accepting Pokemon or Final Fantasy-themed commissions at this point, however. More details about it, including my pricing, can be found on my DeviantArt or FurAffinity account of the same name. I have also included what I could to the spreadsheet.
>>877962
>>897445
Just the companion Pokemon announcement piece.
>>897445
Do you have a tumblr/imgur where I can see more of your art? Can I get a general price range please?
>>896346
Yeah, after Paypal lost a LOT of my money, I looked into alternatives. Bitcoin is one of them, and you can use exchanges on sites like Dwolla to convert them to money. Dwolla also connects to your actual bank account, so it makes it easier to transfer money inbetween.
Honestly, I just use Google Wallet. But it requires a US bank account, which is, frankly, a bit of a luxury.
Stupid question:
Does a thread like this exist for non-smut commissions/artists?
I just want to find people to draw my donut steel, who is more /c/ than /d/, and having a nice bazaar-style atmosphere beats the hell out of aimlessly wading through dA and tumblr only to get slapped with "not accepting commissions!" "trades only!" "support me on patreon!" at every turn.

Hey, me and another dude on Discord are setting up another collab
THE HALLOWEEN DICKENING PROJECT
>What's this?
Do you wanna see your OC doing the unholy thing with a spooky monster of your choice? You've come to the right place. This is a really simple collaboration project for commissioners to get some October-themed smut for their favorite characters
>How much will it cost?
Tackling this first cause it's probably the question that everyone will ask first. We artist we are looking at the moment (secretsecretson) is very cost-effective ($15 for a shaded pic, +$6 for each full bodied character) so at the start, it's $10.50 each, with decreasing prices whenever anyone else joins
>How do I get in?
Check the #halloween_dickening channel on the Discord
>Who can get in?
This one is limited to original character, but other than that, it's open for girls, futas and feminine traps. You can also join more than once with more than one character, pay more slots to have more OCs in
>When is this happening?
Having the pic ready by Halloween would be great, so this will for for at max two more weeks
The pose we are going for (pic related) a semicircle where the monsters are featured without counting as full characters and the girls can shine. Poses can be varied but keep in mind they have to fit this format
>I'm an artist and I want to join
This is more of a budget project and I don't want to lowball anyone, but if you have a competitive price, talk to F; on Discord

Are you the artist trying to compare your work to Amano's or are you a third party trying to imply Amano's art is ugly?

Im posting this for a friend he dosent have that much exposer in the art world so i want to help him out

Oops i forgot the link
Money isn't /that/ big of an issue, but going through each commission sheet looking for an artist that looks like they could replicate Persona 4's art style even slightly is hard. Would anyone here be willing to do something with pic related?
>>901770
I actually dislike trying to directly emulate styles. A lot of the fun of fanart is seeing how a different artist interprets a character.
>>901788
Cool. Glad you decided to share that with us, Anon.
>>901788
It's not like I'm expecting a direct 1-to-1 but I'd rather not have it be in a completely realistic style, for instance.

wasnt me man
Finished this pinup commission of an aged-up, busty Misty a few days ago.
I got this post from the archive to show it to someone on discord, but it's still relevant for this thread, the "how to get noticed" basic guide for tumblr, so I'm reposting it

I'm accepting recommendations of good and cheap artists, you seem to know many

>Debating whether or not I should plug my $5 sketches...
>>901929
So I should just spam my popular shit on tumblr and memelord the shit out of it?
'kay.

got any site for your sfw works? I'm digging this.
So I need to follow some tumblrs to get going, apparently.
Any good ones?

If you mean like... Doing undertail art and shit... Probably a good way to draw a few people in. Catering to the most common denominator at least...
>>901059
I wish I wasn't broke, this looks like a fun idea. Cheap, too.
Anyone knows why many artists don't do body hair? I can understand not wanting poop or vore, but what's wrong with extra hair?
Also, hit me up if you can emulate metalowl/kunaboto/erodoll's style
>>903129
I'll look into it, though (no offense intended) your style looks a bit too "clean" for it
>>903176
what do you mean by that?
less detailed or less shading or
>>903176
None taken! Better you find an artist who's style fits your taste otherwise what's the point, yeah?
>Both artists and commissioners, how do you prefer to communicate? Emails or something quicker, like tumblr or skype messaging?
As an artist, best tip i can give you, email, always, never IM, had terrible experiences with adding commissioners to Skype
>>903233
Horrible experiences such as? I'm curious
I prefer emails myself as a commissioner as they are more like documents in case I need to revisit anything
>>901544
thats the first time iv seen surreal that way,Well done mate
>>903106
Some people think its disgusting, and also, it just things more complicated. Its that much more detail you have to add.
>>903447
>Its that much more detail you have to add
I think it would be harder to draw clothing than adding hair
>>903285
Commissioners telling me their life stories and how much life sucks etc, some trying to "friend me" to get free art, etc. Basically things i canĀ“t deal with.
>>903650
Yeah, that's a bit weird. I usually go for email, but I already commissioned people via tumblr messages, but I tried it pretty much like a quicker email, once the piece was done I thanked them for their work and closed their windows
I like to interact with artists and praise their stuff but I really rarely actually do it because I think everyone will think I'm just sucking their dick for art
>>903233
I stopped using Skype because people get WEIRD. They try to RP with me or get nudes or what have you.
So I like to stick strictly to email, I don't even like using tumblr because of the same reason, also it eats asks
Holy shit, they'll really reblog anything with their OCs in it, won't they
>>903731
gotta encourage growing artists man
I just don't get the whole OC thing. I mean if you're actually writing a story or a game that's one thing, and I suppose artists like to have their mascots which is cool too.
But there are tons of people who just have a character design that does nothing but get porn drawn. Or even more amazing people who will pay out the ass to get the artists own mascots drawn
>>903806
As the owner of an OC that's used mostly for porn (and some written stories that might not see the light of day ever cause I never finish anything I start), I don't get what you are complaining about
Some people like to pay for game or comic characters to be drawn, I made a girl that fills out a bunch of fetishes I like so I pay to have her drawn cause she hits all my spots, what's the problem with that?
>>903806
It's called "Fantasy", anon.
>>903806
Boy you've never been to toyhou.se have ya
>things you always do while commissioning
For me, first and foremost, is what I like to call the Preemptive Nut
Usually when I see something that interests me and might be commission material, I save it as a reference and maybe even write down my idea, but I never ever commission it before nutting and waiting a few days. That way, I can see if I really want a commission or if that day I was just really into beating off that something specific
I also nut before (or while) reviewing sketches or lineart, that way I'm not blinded by lust and I'm able to review the piece better. Approving sketches with a boner leads to amazing tits but legs that don't quite work out but you didn't notice the horrid anatomy because you had your dick in your hand
>>890704
Well this is going GREAT so far
>>904080
Nothing worse than commissioning something, nutting and then not even saving it when it's finished.
Several times.
Is there a way to pay on paypal while still being an anon?
