I could be far more critical than that. Close examination panel-by-panel and you'll notice that the perspective & proportions are botched about half the time, sometimes really bad. Dialogue isn't entirely smooth in a few spots, too.

But, I'm willing to overlook largely due to the storyline. It's great, especially if you're familiar with the canon characters. And, several of the panels have really good captures of facial expressions; it's pretty obvious some shots were done with vastly greater care than others.

I also give enormous credit to nailing the general style. It absolutely captures that early 1970s design and color scheme, the entire feel. Pay attention to the backgrounds & props & fashions and it's a pretty amazing job.

I think "decent" is the difficult qualifier here. There are a number of r34 Archie comics and lots of 'art' out there. I'd certainly consider them in line with the attempted topic for this thread.

Another BTW -- the reason I'm cool with comics as well as cartoons of this vintage, almost all the cartoons from the 1970s have some origin or another from the 1950s/1960s era pulp comic books. Such as previous post, Sabrina originally was a minor character in The Archies comics that became popular and got more panel time, then her own spinoff comics and cartoon.

Pic related, Josie and the Pussycats (the cartoon) was a spinoff from a comic book series.

And from MA3, there are half a dozen links to spin-off & alternate comics by the same people. They do a lot of work on the modern Archie comics ... and MA3 (in particular) gets pretty raunchy in the Archie style (about an R rating, not X, unfortunately). Also a pretty clever webcomic that should give you a good laugh or three, especially once you get to understand the personalities of all the characters. Recommended.

So, these three pages appear to be a fanfic to compliment The Archies Afterlife ... and we start off with most of the cast dead.

Alexandra as an Indiana Jones-like badass saving the bacon of her Melody .... this could'a/should'a been an extended graphic novel. With plenty of sexy. What a missed opportunity.

So, Sabrina makes an appearance in Afterlife with Archie, where she is the (a ..?) Bride of Cthulu. Like I said earlier ... it goes pretty dark. Really liking the horror in these modern reboots..

The part about Sabrina being Questionably Evil always intrigued me about her in the original comics, along with Alexandra being similar, but not seemingly as bright or trained.

A Sabrina x Alexandra ship with Sabrina being a dom mistress over her Apprentice just has delicious written all over it. Especially using magic as part of the love play.

Funniest thing. I just now ran across this pic-related by accident. Many people wonder the same thing.

This is an art interpretation of the final canon info on her.

All I remembered was that she was supposed to be part of the band, somehow Valerie came along and took the spot, rather than the four of them making a band. Which actually would have made more sense from a reality-based perspective of assembling diverse talent to make a stable band. I have a good few years' worth of experience with musicians & bands in real life; I can tell you that a 3-person band has some pretty serious logistics problems that are helped out immensely by being a 4-person band instead.

Considering that nobody has forgotten about Pepper on this side of the 4th wall, I am beginning to suspect that she may well show up in the modern reboot of the comic, at some point, with an interesting story to tell.

In the modern reboot of the Archies universe, Archie and Valerie hook up, get married and have a couple of kids, leaving Betty & Veronica out in the cold. That could leave an interesting opportunity for Josie & the Pussycats to have a need to fill an open spot in the band, if only temporarily.
