That's the gist of it, but you collect a variety of things. Ultimately, it is a shallow builder game with sex content. Even so, the gameplay is not so annoying, and the sex is solid (now with the new artwork). There is always the plus of actually building stuff and seeing your area improve, that is always a fun thing.

I'd recommend giving it a play, I think it is worth it. In fact, I think it is actually worth supporting the guy. The other nice thing, is he is putting his Patreon on hiatus while he takes a break and works on the concept for the next game. That is a pretty solid move in my book. He plans to have a demo for his next game next Spring/Summer--and this one will go fully public at that point.

Second to latest version of Roundscape seems to be playable now.
It still loads new maps slightly too long and even getting out of menu takes a second, but at least normal movement around map doesn't stutter.

Like always my view of the game remains same.
It's flawed in so many ways, but the sheer amount of content and stuff makes it worth it for me.
But for anyone who hasn't played it yet, it's probably best to wait as long as possible as content is being added and bugs are being fixes (and new bugs are created).

How come UMCH isn't on this list. It's a good game, still a WIP though.

They're pretty good games. The second one has a kinda annoying boss fight at the very end. Like everything combat wise is pretty easy until you get to the last fight where you need to craft 4 rings so you don't get 1 hit. Getting the mats for the rings is annoying too.


All in all I'd say they're some of the best games in this genre.

I'm not sure if anyone here is willing to help but I've started playing Free Cities and am overwhelmed with what needs to be done and how. The game has a built in wikipedia but there's just so much information that I don't even know where to begin.

I don't suppose anyone in here is willing to divulge some protips for a new player, playing this game?

-Gather every resource you can from these places pictured.
-There are 4 times; morning: train or scavenge; Noon: eat lunch with senpai, or scavenge; evening: Bath time or scavenge; night: sleep or scavenge.
-I wont give you location info cause its a small map, you find it all real fast.
-train with the sister in the morning for more hp, or more str, but that's about it as far as I can find for shit mattering. You can train with Mom for a better chance to find more shit as well.
-stockpile food and water like mad
-use your bullets however you wish, I was able to get more from Isabella than the police station
-1st chance you get, make a saw so you can cut open the gate to the police station
-Give alcohol to mom or sister as a gift and then sleep in your own bed at night, watch scene. If you affection is high enough, you get to have fun with mom but not sis (yet?).
-talk to sister about everything over and over, will result in a kiss scene after a while. Not sure about the affection levels involved since I found that later in my playthru.
-After the water is shut off, visit mom in the bathroom and bathe together, enjoy scene.
-stay out all night scavenging and at lunch the next day you fall asleep, enjoy scene.
-give about 10-15 of scrap metal, electronic parts, and medicine to isabella and you get access to a secret basement of the lab that provides story. Kinda cool, but won't do much this build.
-build a hatchet and go rescue your aunt. Her insulin is in the sink on the very top floor. Build up affection and talk to her to unlock a clone of the sister kiss scene. Warning, once you rescue her, you use up more food reserves everyday.

Innocent witches should be up in a couple hours.

It can get overwhelming, if you haven't been there since its first versions. The trick is to start with a few devoted slaves and to make sure the money they are bringing in is more than the money you spend each week. After you got that down, focus on fixing their flaws and improving their health and molding them the way you want. Don't bother buying slaves in the beginning: you'll get better ones in events along the way. Immediately sell any fearful or hateful slaves, because trying to turn them into useful ones is a time sink.

You should play on easy. It's nearly impossible to lose and you can get a handle on all the available options and how the game works.
You may want to focus on money at first, assigning whore slaves to accumulate some cash. In the meantime make sure you're always training or breaking or whatever else some slave or another. You want to aim for specialized slaves for the most important jobs.
