I am considering changing the project to something else since the Loud House doesn't really look appealing for a porn game.

People will want me to continue with the same theme but all the scenes I sketch for it come out terribly.

well, you can't really keep the theme intact and change the show to something else since there isn't another show to change it to. you could change it to OCs or something keeping the original incest themes and basic character traits, or just make it some sort of "mess of alt universes collided together" type of thing dropping the incest theme and potentially the basic character traits all together.

HOWEVER, an alternative to both, saving both the work you've done already and keeping the theme and characters, is to redesign the characters from the ground up in your own art style with as many traits as possible taken from those characters, similair to what croc does in his comics.

I really feel like the problem just stems back to you wanting to make the game POV. Yeah the show doesn't necessarily open itself up to porn very well but making it POV doesn't help much either. Outside of maniacpaints pictures which aren't in the shows style I can't think of a good pov picture. I think garabatoz has the best pictures of the show and his are stylized and 3rd person.

Honestly, if ti worries you, I'd think it'd probably be better if you focus on the game and getting the text done, THEN worry about art.
Unless you need the art to illustrate what you plan on happening, I think the game could be good enough that you could easily have the screen black out or fade out a bit while text describes what's happening with the occasional flash of light or screen vibrating to go along with what's happening, at least as a place holder.

I have decided to continue working on the game (although time spent is greatly reduced due to school).

I am waiting for the new episodes to come out.
I am going to swap the ingame background with the logoless webrips that generous other anons have been providing.

The new episodes have so far given us new waifus, some alternate locations (another arcade), Rita's exercise outfit, and just more backstory to the Loud House.

I still need music for all the added areas in the latest build.

I still would like to work on an original game but that is a personal project that WON'T be tied to this. I am going to try and get a real working demo BEFORE switching gears.

I've been thinking about doing some Loud House scribbles, but I haven't been able to get into the show. Watched through episode 6 so far, trying 7 now. Does it get better, or is it pretty much the same quality throughout?

No, of course not. The flockdraw is just a place for me to practice and get better with using my tablet. There are some famous regulars (including simon and ahesG) who draw there and I'm trying to learn from them and improve my control and hand eye coordination. Also practice getting the style of the Loud House.
If I am able to make decent art in a limited app like flockdraw then I can use what I learn in other programs like Photoshop.

here is an extremely quick and rough mockup of
how sex scenes might possibly look like and play out. Please excuse the stray pixels , lack of detail and, improper anatomy; I put this together in under 3 mins.
Its Lori penetrating Lincoln or whichever sister (from behind) with a strapon.
Normally this view wouldn't be possible with a traditional first person perspective which is why i plan to make hidden cameras a feature. Scenes like this would still be from the player's general perspective but you will be able to enjoy various angles.

Notice the focus is on Lori or any other character that would be in that position. With the hidden camera feature you would be able to switch angles and view the same scene from the side. During scenes like this you could give commands to change the positions of characters like having a person turn over. Hidden cameras also justify having zoom options.

Better not get your hopes up. I'm still quite a while from jumping into sex scenes.

I am currently attending school and learning animation in Adobe Animate (previously known as Flash; basically the same thing with slight updates).

Like I have said here and on the blog. School is a priority which is why work on the game has been stalled for a bit.

Anyway, I say that because I hope to use what I learn and apply it to this project and other potential ideas.

Potential plan for making sex scenes in the future:
make scene in Adobe Animate with all the moving animation parts
export flash/swf file as high quality gif
take gif and split frames
OR figure out a way to export the frames as images in Adobe Animate
use frames to make a frame by frame (looping) animation in Renpy
test and refine

That Lori doesn't really serve a purpose besides helping me visually see what style i could use for the game or just emulating the Loud House in general.
I feel like for that pic there really isn't much use to to other people. It's not artwork so much as a diagram.

While I do like that people (Antiquity) are putting up my stuff on the booru.
I rather better (more refined) quality stuff be attached to my tag: tlhgdev
so when people search for it; its actually worth saving or looking at.
I didn't even plan to have stuff on the booru. Its a nice surprise; but I would like some control in case I make an updated version or decided to change/fix something. You will notice for the Luna pic I kept adding stuff to it. Instead of uploading a bunch of inferior incomplete versions; why not just have the final one?

In terms of the other pieces, I asked Lordsquid to upload them for me.
