Correct me if wrong, but doesn't it only become an issue when they use patreon to distribute the images? Not to sound greedy, but the images could be shared online for free, meaning everyone can enjoy them and his fans can support him (just look at akabur, that guy makes over $7000 a month off of donations alone). Most companies also seem to just not give a shit. There are all those SFM patreon pages which use copyrighted characters and models, but the only company that's attempted to do anything about is Blizzard.
