Something like that. I think he flipped his shit because there was nobody to call him out, really — he didn't have a lot of patrons. Which is probably part of the reason why my /r/ thread was unfulfilled.

And I think he might be from Argentina, although that's just a guess based on a dA journal entry he wrote some time ago.

Rinaldi's major issue is lack of communication with his fans, really. Which is also why he doesn't have that many.

had it with two artists. I like vampirella, I will sometimes pay someone to draw her with what I want, if I get "ehh I don't really do requests" then I say "Oh I don't really do charity" and let them starve.

I stopped supporting Rinaldi ever since he moved to DA and started slapping that horrific signature right in the middle of all his images. It was so much better when his website was being updated by that guy and Rinaldi's signature wasn't spewed in the center of his art.

Doesn't surprise me he's a pissy little bitch.

Any patreon-tips for an artist who is fairly skilled but doesn't have a large audience or following becaus they are quite new in the adult side of commercial art?

How can I have a successful early patreon launch? I plan to do stuff that heavily involves my supporters and lets them dictate what I draw in an entertaining manner (for instance having them vote on different aspects of an image, such as characters involved, the setting, and the sex act - that way there is an element of control as well as an element of surprise) would this be a good idea?

Would appreciate any input :q

Well I don't really support a lot of artists, but of the two I did support I was very loyal to them due to..

1. they did requests without asking for money, they did it just as a "thank you" to the fans. It was only later when one melted down did I stop supporting him

2. do commissions and do what people pay for. Yes, it may end up with you drawing retarded pony transexual porn a few times, but that will at least pay the bills and allow you to do art you actually wanna do.

3. dont quit your day job. Even the best artists are simply not good enough to make a living off of it.
