Now storytiming what the Supreme Court considered "obscene" more than 40 years ago.
"Vern Kent" was a pseudonym for Ken Landau (1926-2012), who worked in animation and comic books for more than 40 years.
At the time, It was traditional for smut books to have long-winded introductions like this, by so-called "doctors", in an effort to pass off the sucking and fucking as "educational".
I don't buy it.
We close with an excerpt from another title in the Red Lion catalog - "The Many Faces of Philbert Foxhunt", by "Von Thrubble" (a pseudonym for Art Hurric, who was a staff cartoonist for Sex to Sexty).
And that's the end.
Thanks for reading, /aco/!
I'll drop off the link for this in the /co/ Win'O on Friday.
Goodbye and remember to bump this thread for other readers!
Cool old stuff!
There apparently was a porn comic, 60's/70's80's vintage, that seemed like a parody of Lil' Abner. The art was nice for the time, and the jokes seemed hilarious.
Has anybody ever heard of what that was?
May as well leave this here.
