From what I've read it's not "difficult" so much as particular and you have to do it regularly. Everything I've read says no more then 2-3 days before washing, so your just doing laundry like crazy. And for someone like me that usually only wears at night it's a bit impractical, but I did want to try it out.

It's not necessarily "hard", but you can't wash velcro-tabbed ones too often or they'll lose functionality.

And depending on your diet and what you drink, there can be a noticeable smell after a time (especially if you use bleach when washing).

There's the obvious taboo when it comes to messy diapers. Diaper-wearing in general is already in this category, but messing is the ultimate act to say "You need diapers."

Drilling a little deeper, you've got the shame associated with messing yourself. Whether the wearer of the loaded diaper is embarrassed or unconcerned, the observer (you) knows that they should feel ashamed, and get turned on from either reaction as a result.
