actually, i agree with you fully! I used to read and blindly follow a LOT of tutorials. They were better than I could do, so they must be right, right? it wasn't until I took a live drawing class that I earned WHY things are the way they are. I had to unlearn a lot of bad habits. I spent a lot of time with 'bob', our school drawing skeleton. that and the nude models (not as sexy as it sounds, trust me). I am not great, but I am getting there.

But on that note, some of the 'tuts' are not that bad, because they do not tell you HOW to draw a boob, or arm, etc. they are explaining what NOT to do and going into anatomy. those kinds of tuts are good.

In short, it it tells you to do this or that, it is no good. if it tells you "look, this is why this bulges, because of this bone', or what NOT to do, it MIGHT be ok. but best tip is to just practice with models/ random people on the sidewalk

Some areas have other obscenity laws that also may be relevant. If it can be shown that you transited anything of the sort over a common carrier, like the internet, there are other laws they can get you with.

UK: Right out. Though Scotland may be different... I don't care enough to look into this.
Australia: Zero tolerance for anything that could be construed to be depicting a minor in any sexualized way (This includes Simpsons porn). They have even gone so far as banning small breasted models for encouraging molesters. (They of course have no evidence to think this is true, but they don't care.)

Heyo, everyone! I'm planning on starting a nsfw monstergirl cyoa formatted similarly to Prequel (that one comic with the yellow slutcat- never read it in total, but liked the style), but, like... there are so many factors to consider aside from the whole drawing thing. I've got no idea where to host it- Patreon seems like it's got the format I want, but it's not free, and from what I understand, tumblr's a right fucking mess. There's also no way I'm going to just go balls deep and make an independent website, either. /qst/ doesn't even allow nsfw, so a stylistic downgrade in exchange for speed would be possible, but render the whole adventure pointless.
Does anybody have any ideas? I'm kind of stuck- don't want to force anybody through a patreon paywall, just want to tell a story with some shortstacks, milfs, muscle xenos, delusional janitor traps and bartender sharks.
