That would be daz studio or poser.
Daz is free software but the content is $$$ sometimes.
Either way, it's easy. Everything is done by dials and sliders.
Load Figure > select parameter tab > change shit.
You can also pose shit by selecting the body part.

Kickass search for DAZ3D. download pro bundles.
The only thing you really need to learn is certain clothing or items only work for certain figures.
There are TONS of figures but they all come from certain bases.
Hold on to your butts:
Generation 1 = Victoria
Generation 2 = Victoria 2
Generation 3 = Victoria 3 / Michael 3
Generation 4 = Victoria 4 / Michael 4 / Aiko 4 etc etc.
Generation 5 = Victoria 5 / / GENESIS (not to be confused with generation. This unisex figure has sliders for both male and female. It will go on to be Daz's main figure)
Generation 6 = Victoria 6 / Michael 6 / Genesis 2 Female / Genesis 2 Male
(Current) Generation 7 = Victoria 7 / Genesis 3 Female / Genesis 3 Male

From Generation 5 onward, Genesis figure is required before using any victoria/michael/etc shapes.

I believe Genesis 1 and 2 are free with the basic daz studio software.

Get the studio first. If you were paying attention when you installed it then you should have the directory that everything is saved in. If not you can create your own and point the program where you want it to go. Kind of a simple dump from there.

Only thing to remember is that the "Runtime" archive and anything on it's level are what you unzip. You'll fuck it up if you go further down than that.

This is one method but I consider it messy.
There's plenty of other youtube guides out there.

I prefer to create a second library outside of the C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library for the sake of organization.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\CUSTOM LIBRARY or whatever you want to name it.
This way, everything you bought or got free from Daz3d will be in the "MyDaz3D Library" and you can just make a mess of pirate/freebie/etc items in the other library..

First things first though. Get the base install manager from DAZ3D and monkey around with basic figures. There wont be many sliders enabled by default though.

Renderosity is a nice alternative for the same. Then, there's Renderotica for all your devious delights.
Dazposer.net is a collection of pirate content with web hosted downloads

Lots to do with lighting. If you are just starting out, make sure you are rendering from an active viewport that is actually a camera's view. Also that the camera has it's headlamp disabled in properties.
HDR maps help a lot to get quick results with basic stuff. Once you add more actual geometry into the environment it will take some time to render.

Usually it's best to use no more than three lights for most pics like that. There a large white sphere fill light to HER upper right which you can see the reflection of in the background and on the glass. I think the 2nd is a red tall rectangle rim light set off to her left to accentuate what would otherwise be her dark side...(helps to sell her face and 3d form). This was just a quick throw together render though and i might do it different if i was making a better pic. Just remember that Sphere lights will give light ALL around it so your lumens have to be really high like 500,000 plus to get any light.

Iray only really uses Spot Lights....point lights and the others dont work well, but they still work in 3Delight. With the spot light the spread angle is just as important as the Luminosity since if for example you set the Luminosity to 100k that same amount of light will be there and be more intense if you reduce the spread angle, and it will diffuse more if you increase the spread angle. You can set the Spot Light shape in the parameters tab to stuff like Rectangle, Sphere etc..and change its size....this way you don't have to make a primitive and set it to emission to get a nice area light.
